Like no. If you want to transition to a different time, you can convey that through text. You don't have to say "Time Skip" for people to get the message. It's different in a roleplay, but that's not how a story works. It comes with practice, and everyone has done this at one point or another. It's just something that you HAVE to grow out of eventually. Otherwise, your writing is going to seem amateur, even if the rest of it is a masterpiece.
