"So, should we just walk in there like 'Hey yeah you're probably our sister, don't be freaked out 'kay'?", Zeus said to Zelus. Zelus thought for a moment, scratching his chin. "Maybe we should ask her if she wants to talk to us. I mean we can't just take her and leave with her.", he said and stood up, taking his jacket from the couch. Zeus trotted after him to the hotel where Sabertooth was staying, the Crocus Gardens.

"That's one fancy-ass looking hotel.", Zeus noted when they both stood infront of the gigantic building. "The hell are we supposed to find someone who is like 1,50m tall?!", Zelus asked when a random pushed himself in fear through the brothers. "Make trouble somewhere else, not like you're a match for us.", a familiar voice was heard from within the hallway. The brothers looked at each other and rushed into the building.

When they were inside they hid behind some curtains. They'd get kicked out instantly if someone saw them. "So, do we like split up or search together?", Zelus asked his brother. He scratched the back his head, "I think we should stick together, who knows who we'll run into."

"That was impressiv today, Ceres.", Rouge said.

"No.", stoic as ever the short dragon slayer snorted, "I had to use my Fire Drive for that stupid hoe."

"And your Dragon Force.", Sting added when he dropped next to Ceres onto the couch.

"As I already said, I activated my Dragon Force to entertain you, you lonely wanker!", she spat, silencing the whole room.

"Okay, damn, I get it. No need to be so passive aggressive...", he put his arm around your shoulder.

She stood up to get something to drink (and escape Sting's sad flirting attempts) and mentioned:

"That isn't passive aggressive. That was active aggresive since verbal abuse is a form of violence, you jackass.", she said, sipping a bit from her glass.

"Aren't a bit too mean to Sting-kun?", Yukino asked carefully.

"He won't learn it otherwise. I already tried that.", Ceres stated while rubbing her temples.

"I don't mind being insulted if it's from you, m'lady.", Sting went over to you only making you back away more.

"I swear to god if you don't sit your ass back down I'll blast you right through this window. Are we clear?", she was dead serious. Like with everything she said.

"As crystal, m'lady.", he fell back onto the couch.

Meanwhile Zeus and Zelus have been eavesdropping and spying the whole time. "The hell is he saying to my little sister! Im'a shank his nan, seriously!", Zeus whisper-screamed. "Cut it out already, you idiot. How can you be so sure she is really our sister?", Zelus hit him on the head. When Zeus wanted to answer something they heard talking again.

"So, we're leaving now. It's kinda late. See ya tomorrow.", Rogue said while heading for the door.

Yukino and Rufus left as well. Sting stood there with an expression that can't be described.

"Is there a reason you didn't shove your ass out of here already? It's my room, you know that.", Ceres puffed while putting the glass away, her back turned to the Light Dragon Slayer.

"How about--", he started but got interrupted by Ceres, as she always did.

"How about no.", she pushed him to the still opened door, "Get out and bother someone else. Rogue for example."

She closed the door when she successfully had thrown Sting out of the room. She let out a long, exasperated sigh. The days ended often like this. Sting being an annoying pain in the ass (not to be taken literally) and she being mad about the slightest thing. It has been a long time since she was truly happy.

The blue-haired woman sat down at her dresser infront of the mirror. "Bravery is by far the kindest word for stupidity...", she stared at her reflection, "How true..."

"You  killed your own mother; you're a disgrace; the best isn't good enough for that spoiled brat", she tried to supress her tears. "Ungrateful, unrewarding and useless they said. 'She looks just like her mother, but her heart is cold as ice.'; 'I'd trade her just to have Josephine back.'; 'She's not worth the effort'.", in the end she lost the fight against the tears.

"Hearing that from your own father is really like being stabbed. After all true friends stab you in the front.", she held her bangs up and tied them into the back of her hair, revealing a long diagonal scar spread all over her forehead. Starting at the left side of her hairline stopping just above the right eyebrow. That's the reason she keeps her hair like that.

After a long, thoughtful silence there was a loud shattering. With her hand all bloody she sat on the floor around her shards of the mirror she just striked.

"Power comes at a price. Even if you have to leave your humanity behind. That's what he taught me. That's how I grew up. And that's how I'm living..."

Obviously Zeus and Zelus heard the shattering and wanted to go in when Sting and Rogue rushed into the room.

"I think we should leave for today. She doesn't seem to be in a good mental state to talk to her right now.", Zelus said, pulling his brother up by the shoulder. He gave in and they left without leaving a trace.

"You're okay?", Sting knelt down, looking at Ceres' hand.

"What happened?!", Rogue was visibly concerned.

Ceres' didn't look up. She stared blankly at the grounds, then speaking up.

"I accidentally  hit the mirror and well, it shattered."

The Twin Dragon Slayers looked at each other in disbelief.

"You shattered it on purpose, didn't you?", Sting said with a worried tone.

Lector and Frosch stood in the door frame, looking at the scenery infront of them. Frosch on the brink of tears. "C'mon buddy, let's get back our room...", Lector took her hand and left.

Sting and Rogue left Ceres after bandaging her bleeding hand. They offered to stay with her in fear that she'll hurt herself again. But she declined.
