Katniss had decided to learn how to paint. It took about five minutes for her to regret that decision.

There was paint coating her hands, some in her hair, a bit on her neck, and what seemed like gallons on the floor. From Peeta trying not to laugh at her... humble... attempt at a primrose, to the fact that the paint was nearly everywhere, Katniss was ready to be finished before she had even finished painting in the stem of the rose. Despite her protests, Peeta kept her paintbrush busy, standing behind her and guiding her brush every so often. At one point her brush slipped, sending a streak of pale yellow down the canvas, ruining what she had tried to hard to accomplish.

"That's it!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air which caused paint to splatter on the ceiling.

"No, Katniss, you can fix this," Peeta said, grabbing her by the shoulders. "Watch." He took the paintbrush from her hand and began swirling colors together, resulting in a light peach color. "Here," he instructed, painting an oval shape on the canvas.

"What's that supposed to be?" she asked.

"I'm not done." Proceeding to fill in the oval and shade a little bit, Katniss finally understood. It was a face with pale blonde hair and a primrose in tucked behind its ear. Interested, she watched as Peeta stepped back, put the paintbrush in Katniss's hand, and guided the brush to paint one eye, then another. The mouth came next, then the nose. Finally, it was finished, and Primrose Everdeen was staring back at them with her namesake tucked behind her ear.
