It's a lot harder to survive in this house than I thought. This guy doesn't just leave food laying around, he's responsible and the cleans up after himself. And the only reason I'm still alive is I've been living off of crumbs and that part of an apple I hacked off with a plastic thing.

And that was three days ago.

And now I'm out of food.

But I'm scared to even be within 100 yards of that...guy...

But I have to go out and get some otherwise I'll starve...

Two nights I've cried myself to sleep.

But today... I will learn to survive.

////*Two intense hours later*\\\\

Ok, I'm sure by now that he's gone. I haven't heard his footsteps in 45 minutes.

I took a deep breath and slinked out of the shadows. Listening for any disturbances I should worry about, None were present.

I was already on the counter, by the spice cabinet. It took me more than enough time to be able to climb up here. I'm just lucky he has one of those house phones that need a cord.

My goal for today was to sneak off with some of that banana in the fruit bowl. Easy to cut, easy to feast. Survival motto for borrowing food...I don't steal.

I carefully and quietly tip-toed to the banana hanging over the side of the bowl. Stabbing the plastic shard into the skin of the banana, I found that the banana peel is harder to cut through.

I cursed to myself. This was going to take longer than I thought, at my estimate. Probably an hour.

//*A frustrating amount of strikes to a banana later*\\

I had it! Oh glory! The banana core was finally mine!! Even though I was sticky with banana juice, I knew I would survive!  Haha! Oh god thank you! Universe, I love ya! Oh and Zeus, I hate you for bringing the storm upon me you jerk. Whisked away to a different land, scared out of my mind... I wanna go home.

But my victory/bipolar moment lasted a short time as I heard the giant open the front door, I froze. My eyes wide in terror that he would see me, anxiety filled my gut as I heard him walk towards the counter. I couldn't see him because I was facing away from him. He was carrying plastic bags, possibly groceries. I heard the crackle of the plastic as the bags were set down nearby. My mind wasn't working, it wouldn't let me run. I could only manage to turn around and face the Titan behind me.

But once I did.

I swear I nearly pissed myself.

You would too if you were me.

He was right there.

His gargantuan form towering above me, casting a faint shadow on my tiny form.

Fortunately, he was on his phone.

My heart rate increased and once again, I could hear it beat loud and clear.

The giant looked up from his phone, my heart lurched in my chest. His bored and tired expression turned to horrified and surprised, as his eyes rested on me.

And then he yelped in surprise as he fell over.

Huh, he fell over... I don't even know why, he just did. Meanwhile Ashley over here is terrified of the guy. Then he just... Falls.

King comedy over here am I right?

Thanks again for getting this far into my first story, I appreciate you for being able to survive through my chapters. Haha. Well time to go and write.
