I wake up with a head rush, I can't move without getting dizzy...

Whoah... Where am I?

I open my eyes to see Nina sitting next to me, with some kind of fabric in her hands.

"N-Nina?" I ask, my voice barely a whisper.

"Yeah? It's me."

"W-what happened? Where are the boys?" I asked, trying to sit up.

"Oh, Kyle pimp-smacked Wren in the face when he noticed you were unconscious in his lap." She explained.

"Oh my god is he alright?" I questioned, leaning on a salt shaker.

"Yeah, it was funny though, but Kyle was really concerned about you. He gave Wren a suspect conference once he checked you for any scars or wounds, then he apologized once he realized Wren was only being playful..." She explained, setting down the cloth in her hands.

"So where did they go?" I asked, looking around the room.

"They went to go get some ice for Wren, and supplies for going on the road again. I agreed to come with... But they went a long time ago, they should be back soon."

"Oh ok...what are you doing?" I asked, sitting up straight.

"I'm making clothes for on the road, you want me to show you?" She asked, handing me some cloth.

I examined the texture, "Sure! I'd love to know how..."

*************************

"Hey, do you think Wren is weird?" I asked, looping the thread around the cloth.

"...Define weird." She asked.

"Well, first day he saw me he called me a 'Tiny Goddess'."

"Uhuh..." She said, pausing to think. "Well that's because he's a furry." She explained. Starting on a new pice of clothing.

I raised my eyebrows, "A what?" I asked, I had heard of furries before. Aren't they those weird people that dress like animals?

"A furry, he has a certain interest in anthropomorphic animals, or animals with human characteristics such as walking, talking, feelings, and... Just acting human." She explained further.

"So.. Doesn't that mean that he likes to... " I trailed, not wanting to think about something so inappropriate. So close to a cat-girl.

"No," she shook her head, "that's a wide misconception. Most people in the community don't find a sexual drive towards animals."

"...How do you know all of this?"

"...I looked it up on what's-his-name's phone-thing, while he wasn't home."

"Oh, that makes sense."

Nina taught me how to measure the clothes with a marked string, for a better fit.

Then I heard the front door open, and both Kyle and Wren came in. Carrying plastic bags.

"Hey! What are you guys doing with my sewing kit?" Wren asked, setting the bags down on the counter.
