This story is based off true events. In 1965 a large tornado breakout happened in the midwest that spawn over 100 tornadoes in one day. It spread across different states but this story takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana. The photo for the cover photo is one of the tornadoes that hit in Indiana (a double twister) I did a lot of research for this story (as I already knew much of the information due to me wanting to be a storm chaser/meteorologist one day) so yeah I'm a weather nerd.
