Chapter 09: "Decision"

I nodded in understanding. "I just... I think..." I struggled to say what was on my mind. I exhaled and inhaled and exhaled again to calm myself. "Honestly, I think we should let time pass."

Seth looked at me with question then down to the floor. "What do you mean?" He asked dejectedly.

I placed a hand on his shoulder. "I mean... get to know each other better. Let time pass and see where it brings us to." I smiled. "I'm not rejecting you, but I'm not exactly accepting it right away. We don't even know each other. I can't say I have any feelings for you. We just met. You can't honestly have feelings for me either, right?"

I watched Seth nod. "But I can't deny the fact that I don't dislike you." He chuckled. "I understand. It's not normal to meet a pack of werewolves and one of them imprints on you. Supernatural world." He shrugged with sarcasm.

I giggled. "Thanks for understanding. It's just..." I trailed off. "I actually have never been in any kind of relationship with a male besides friendship. I mean I have been asked out once or twice, but I wasn't interested. So, you are or more likely will be my first boyfriend."

A bright smile appeared on his face. "Good. I don't like sharing." Seth said.

I softly punched him and rolled my eyes in a teasing manner. "I don't like sharing either."

"Good we have something in common." Seth said while laughing.

I laughed too. "Sharing is caring though."

"We are talking about sharing people. I share." Seth defended.

"I know. I share too. It was just a joke." I smiled.

Seth ruffled my hair. "I know." He lets out a sigh of relief. "Thanks for being understanding and giving this a chance."

"No problem. I can say the same to that and..." I trailed off, and Seth gave me a confused look. "I can't deny the fact that I don't dislike you."

Seth grinned. "That's a relief."

Bella and Jacob then appeared. Jacob side hugged Seth and Bella did the same to me.

"So, how is the imprinting decisions going?" Jacob asked.

"We will be going on dates to get to know each other and build a relationship." Seth answered.

"How are you [Name]? Are you okay with Seth imprinting on you?" Bella asked with slight worry.

"I'm good. The imprinting is a bit of a surprise, but I'm okay with it I guess." I answered, but then tiptoed to whisper into her ear. "Honestly, I'm glad it's Seth. He seems to have a good personality."

Bella smiled. "Definitely, Seth is the perfect guy..." She trailed off. "For you, I mean. Edward is my perfect guy."

"Are you saying this based on your own opinion or because of the imprinting?" I asked her.

Bella chuckled. "Both. But mostly on my opinion of him. He doesn't really have anything against the Cullens like the others in the pack are or like how Jacob is. He doesn't judge based on what is told by others rather he makes his own opinions on someone."

I nodded. "I can tell. The others were a bit hostile because they assumed that I was on the vampire side because you were. Seth just introduced himself and welcomed me with open arms."

"Exactly." Bella said.

"When's the first date?" Jacob asked interrupting our private sister talk.

Seth nodded. "I was wondering that too."

"I don't know. I would like to have our first date next weekend, but knowing Bella would want to stay on the vampire side." I said.

Bella nodded. "Sorry."

"I can pick her up half way." Jacob said. "Someone just needs to drive her there."

Seth punched Jacob's right arm. "You ride a motorbike. I don't want to see her hands all wrapped around your waist." He said with slight irritation.

Jacob chuckled. "Already jealous?" He teased.

Seth huffed. "I don't like sharing is all." He retorted

I blushed. "How cute." I muttered to myself.

"Stop teasing Seth just because he got my lovely sister." Bella defended.

"Anyways, I think it's best if we do meet half way. My sister can drive us here, and then we can have our date." Seth said.

Both Bella and I nodded. "That sounds good to me." I said.
