Chapter 06: "Going to La Push"

After meeting all of the vampires last night, it was time to finally meet the werewolves. It was midday when Bella decided that it was time to leave. We got in the truck and drove to La Push. It was quite a long drive that I suddenly fell into a deep sleep while waiting to get there.

I woke up uncomfortably in Bella's truck and noticed that the truck was in park. I saw Bella outside talking to who I assume to be Jacob. I quietly got out of the car and stood between the two. Bella noticed me, but Jacob did not.

"Welcome." Bella greeted. "I'm glad you are awake."

I let out a yawn. "Sorry, what did I miss?"

Jacob jumped. "Where did you come from? Why do you look similar to Bella? Are you a bloodsucker? Who are you?"

"What?" I gave him a flabbergasted look. "I just woke up in her truck in an uncomfortable position. I'm Bella's little sister. And no I am not a bloodsucker. I am a normal human being. The name's [Name] Swan." I answered.

"Hello." He greeted and looked at Bella. She nodded to indicate that I was telling him the truth. "I'm Jacob Black or you can call me Jake. A family friend since our fathers are best friends. And sorry for the questions when you just supposedly woke up."

"Nice to finally meet you." I sheepishly smiled.

Jacob had a questionably look. "Finally?"

"Umm... I... Bella talked about you. No she didn't spill the secret. We both did the researched." I stumbled on what I was saying.

"Sorry, I had asked my sister to help me on the research." Bella confessed.

He nodded in understanding. "It's fine. I mean I didn't really break any rules. You technically didn't either. But what brings you here again?"

"I wanted to introduce [Name] since she will be staying here in Forks. Although, I do also want to hang out with you." Bella answered.

Jacob smiled. "It's a good thing you came actually. We are having a bonfire tonight to celebrate the new shapeshifters. You know? Since you have been to one?"

"Is it okay if I join?" I asked in case he forgot about me.

He nodded. "Of course! I didn't mean to make it sound like I forgot about you." He grinned. "Well let's introduce you to my dad first."

Jacob took us inside his house into his living room. We were face to face to his father who had an older resemblance of his son.

"It's been awhile Bella." He greeted. "Oh! You must be [Name]. Charlie talked about you coming here eventually. You were really small when you first met me."

"It's nice to see you again too Billy." Bella said.

I smiled. "Wow! It's been so long. I'm glad that I'm older now and can finally talk to you."

"That's right. You have grown up to be such a beautiful lady." Billy smiled. "You of course did too Bella."

"Wait! Where was I?" Jacob questioned.

Billy chuckled. "All three of you were pretty young when you first met, so I'm not too surprised that any of you would remember."

The three of us nodded in understanding.

We continued to chat about how Bella has adapted to living here for a year, how I am liking it here, and how they have been. However, we were interrupted when a couple came in loud and clear.

"Billy! Should we start the bonfire a little early? Almost everyone is here. I have all of our ancestor's stories about the shapeshifters in this book." The man said.

"I have all the food and drinks ready." The lady said.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. I didn't know we would be having guests." The man apologized.

The lady bowed. "Sorry."

Billy chuckled. "You remember Bella?" He gestured to Bella then to me. "This is her little sister, [Name]. The two will be joining us tonight."

"I am Sam Uley and this is my wife Emily. Don't stare." He introduced and warned. "But I do have a question. I understand Bella since she knows about our kind. However, I don't understand having her younger sister join us."

Jacob joined the conversation. "[Name] helped Bella discover our species."

"Alright, then I suppose she shall join us too. Just keep our secret." Sam said.

Emily punched his arm. "Dear!"

I nodded in understanding. "Yes sir! I won't tell anyone."

He slightly smiled. "Well let's get going."

"First, we eat though." Emily said.

We all went into the kitchen and the table was filled with a whole bunch of food.

"Wow so much food!" I exclaimed.

"She does feed the whole pack." Bella reminded me. "Hmm... Are they going to join us?" She asked.

"Usually, but since there's guests... We thought it would be best for us to eat or else the boys will steal all the food." Emily answered.

"Will it be enough for everyone?" I asked worried. "We don't mean to impose or steal the food."

"No worries [Name]. There's always plenty of food around." Billy said.

Emily nodded. "If I need to I will cook more, but I usually always cook extra."

I nodded in understanding. "If you do I will help." I smiled.

She smiled back. "Thank you. You are so sweet."

Jacob grinned. "Well come on!"

Everyone got a plate and started to fill it up with food. Then we all sat down and ate. After eating, we all put our empty dishes in the sink.

"Do you wash the dishes or put them in the dishwasher?" I asked about to clean the empty dishes.

However, Emily stopped me. "You don't need to do them, but that is very kind of you."

"Are you sure? It is only proper to help with something when someone feeds you." I smiled.

Sam had a small smile. "Jacob, you go take them out to start the bonfire. You know light it up. I will get the pack to eat, and we will meet you all out there."

"Okay." Jacob said.

Jacob and his dad then lead us out to the beach. There was already a pile of rocks and burnt wood in the sand.

"Alright, this is where we usually do our bonfire, but now you all need to grab as many wood as you can find. Jacob, you take them in the forest and watch them." Billy said.
