Chapter 2 : One Month Later

Cameron's P.O.V :

I walked upstairs and saw that Ethan was talking to April .

"Hey Ethan ."
"Oh hey Cameron , I was just talking to April ."
"Do you mind if I talk to her for a moment ."
"Oh not at all , she's all yours ."
"love you April ." said Ethan
"love you too Ethan ."

Ethan then got up and exited the room .
I then sat next to April and put my arm around her .

"Do you want to tell me where you were this whole time?"
"Cameron I know you know . It's all over Twitter anyways ."
"Why'd you do it ?"
"I-I don't know ."
"You know how I feel about Derek. Yea he was your first boyfriend , but he was a bad influence on you . You almost went to jail ."
"I know Cameron . I just think part of me missed him yanno. I know it was bad that I cheated on Grayson .. But it was a mistake."
"I understand that , but I think you've should've at least told him the whole story about Derek."
"Cam I can't talk about the abortion ! It scares me ."
"I know I'm sorry . I know me too , I hate talking about it , but you weren't mature enough to take care of a baby."
"Yea I-I know ."
"I think you should talk to Grayson ."

April shrugged .

"Uh Cameron , I have to tell you something ."
"Ok ?"
"Me and Grayson were planning on getting married ."
"What ? Why didn't you tell me this ."
"It was a secret ."
"So you cheated on your fiancé ?"
"Cameron stop ! He even asked me for the ring before he left ."
"Everything will be okay . Just . Just talk to him . I know he loves you . If he didn't he would've not stuck around this long ."
"Yea not until he found out about everything ."
"Don't worry about it . You never know , you guys could possibly be back together faster than you know it ."

•1 month later •

Haylie's P.O.V :

I know today was going to be a good day . A great day. It was 12:30 in the afternoon and April was still in her room sleeping . She hasn't been out lately ever since the whole incident with Grayson , but not for long !

Earlier today , Cameron talked to me that him and Ethan planned on going roller skating . So then I got a brilliant idea on taking April to go to the mall to buy clothes and take her to the roller skating rink without her knowing gray being there .

It's been a month since they haven't talked to each other . I mean isn't it awkward ? Your boyfriend ? Or ex ? Fiancé ? Who knows . Living with you ?
Knowing me , I wouldn't be able to not talk to cameron for that long ! It would kill me .

I know our plan is gonna go out great !
Before waking up April I had bought her a new outfit from one of her favorite stores . PacSun✨ . I hope she likes it , because I threw the receipt away 😂

I ran upstairs to her room and closed the door . I then poked her .

"April . April wake up . It's 12:30 !"
"Mm go away Haylie ." She mumbled

I then grabbed one of her pillows .

"Get up!" I said hitting her with a pillow
"I'm up." she mumbled
"April get up ." I said hitting her again
"I'm up ."
"April !" I said hitting her for the last time
"IM UP!" She yelled
"Well sorry couldn't hear you over the mumbling ."

I then threw the clothes that I bought her in her face .

"Haylie what's this ?"
"They are called clothes . Now put it on ."
"Did you buy it for me ?"
"No . The Easter bunny did ."

April glared at me .

"Yes I bought it for you ! "
"Why?"
"Because we are going to the mall."
"Right now?"
"Yes right now !"
"But I don't have money ."

I then pulled out a big huge stack of cash out of pocket.

"I do , and I'm going to spoil you today . Today is your day so you better enjoy it."
"Oh well okay."
"Yea and later tonight we are going to the roller skating rink."
"I don't know about that Haylie ."
"Well you don't really have a choice . Your going ."
"Since when have you been so demanding ?"
"Ever since today ! Now hurry up and get dressed so we can get going !"
"Okay okay !"

April's P.O.V :

Well damn I wonder what got into Haylie this morning ? She seems happy . Also seems happy to take me out ? I wonder what she's up to .

I hope everything goes well today , I mean I haven't been out of the house for a while .

I went into the bath room and took a fast shower . I blow dried my hair , did my make up , and put the outfit on that Haylie had bought me . Well damn she knows me too well . I actually really love the outfit !

I had a lot of text messages and missed calls from Derek but I simply ignored them . I am not going down that path . No way Jose. 

I got out of the bath room very cheerful . I went on snapchat and posted a picture of myself . I was actually happy and I had no idea why . I was totally feeling myself . Weird right ?

I then went downstairs and met up with Haylie in the kitchen .

"Hey Haylie where's Cameron?"
"Oh he's with Ethan and Grayson they went bowling ."
"Oh that's nice ."
"Yea I was gonna go , but I didn't want to leave my best friend here alone by herself . No that would be so rude of me ."
"Awh that's so sweet ."

Haylie then went on her snapchat and took a video of me eating cereal .

"Awh look at my April eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch ."
"Breakfast is the key to success yo!" I said laughing

We both started laughing . I haven't felt this happy ever since me and Grayson broke up . But then again it was my fault .

Haylie posted the video on her snapchat story .

"Should we go to the mall now ?"
"We shall ."  I smiled .
