Chapter 32 : Abortion?

Grayson's P.O.V :

You would call it a bitchy move. I just want April back .

Ethan seemed furious .

"April please tell me what I just heard isn't true ..." said Ethan

She stayed quiet .

"We all know who she wants to be with Ethan ." I said

He glared at me .

"Is it true April? Do you want to be with Grayson? After what he did to you? After he cheated on you the whole damn relationship!" Yelled Ethan

Derek's P.O.V :

I haven't talked to April ever since the whole Grayson and Delany incident . You know April will always have a special place in my heart . I love her so much .

I have kept my distance from her though . It kills me if I have to be honest but it's for the better . Delany and I are in no speaking terms . She honestly a hoe.

"But you had to go after my ex girlfriends boyfriend !" I yelled
"And you had to get in her pants knowing that she had a boyfriend !" Delany spat
"Oh you really wanna fucking say th-"

I was soon interrupted by my phone ringing .

"Who the fuck is calling you ? Your side bitches?" Said Delany

I looked at the number and my skin crawled . I never knew this day would come .

*Flash Back*

"What are you guys gonna do?" Asked Cameron
"Listen to me Cameron , I'm gonna give our baby up for adoption , but you have to tell April that she had an abortion ."
"What about the doctors ?" He asked
"I'll tell them the plan ... I'm not aborting my kid . I'd rather give her a better home with better supporting parents ."

"Hello?"
"Mr. Derek Luh."
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry for this late notice , but your daughter ... She's been wanting to meet you . Is the mother still around ? She's been asking about her biological parents and we have a right to ask the parents for permission ."

Yes. April and I have a daughter . But I never told her I gave it up for adoption . She thinks she had an abortion but in reality she didn't .

"Mr Luh?"
"Oh uhm yes , April is still around . I would be glad to meet my beautiful daughter Aaliyah"
"Oh my goodness ! I'll be glad to tell her the good news !
"When would I visit the adoption center?"
"Would tomorrow afternoon be alright ?"
"Yes that'd be perfect , tell Aaliyah her dad is gonna be glad to meet her ."
"Will do Mr. Luh , well have a good day and God bless you ."

I hung up and I was speechless .

"What's up with you ?" Asked Delany
"I-it's Aaliyah ... She finally asked about me and April ."
"Aaliyah ?"
"My daughter ."
"Oh shit Derek ! What about April ?"
"I'm gonna have to tell her ..."

April's P.O.V :

I didn't know what to say . Ethan was right about Grayson , but I love Grayson .

"Ethan ... I-I'm sorry ."
"No you know what this is bullshit. Whatever you guys can be happy I'm leaving ." Said Ethan

Grayson looked at me and frowned .

"April ."
"No don't fucking talk to me !"
"But-"
"You always fucking ruin everything ! First you cheat on me and then now your brother hates me !"
"But you lo-"

My phone then began to ring .

"Who's calling you at this moment ?" Said Grayson
"Shut the hell up ! Like you care !"

It kept ringing .

"Aren't you gonna answer it ?"

I looked at the caller ID . It was Derek . What does he want ?

"Hello?"
"Hey April !"
"Hey Derek ."
"I'm sorry did I call at the wrong time ."
"No why what's up ."
"Well uhm I have to talk to you about something .."
"Well just say it ."
"Uhm well I don't know how to say it but uhm April you have a daughter ."

I laughed and looked at Grayson .

"Is everything ok?" Said Grayson

I looked at him and signaled him to be quiet . 

"Derek stop your so funny . I don't have a daughter ." I laughed
"April I should've told you this earlier .. "
"What are you talking about ."
"April , you never had an abortion ."
"Yes I did !"
"No you didn't , I just made you think you had an abortion ."
"But I signed the papers !"
"It was fake ."
"Derek James Luh!"
"April I'm serious , I named her Aaliyah Marie Luh. The adoption center called me and said she wanted to meet her parents . That's me and you ."
"No Derek your confused I don't have a daughter !"
"April we have a daughter ! I'll send you a picture of her , I'll talk to you later ."

I hung up and looked at Grayson .

"April are you okay ?" He asked

My heart was racing , I didn't know what to do or think .
I began to tear up .

"G-Grayson ."
"April ?"
"W-would you be willing to be a step dad ?"
"A step dad ?"
"I- I have a daughter ......"
"You what ?"

I completely blacked out.
