Chapter 12

At night i was alone at my residence.
Mom was on her business trip and my names sake bro was no where

I had my dinner. Then i studied for sometimes after studying i tried to sleep but i was unable to sleep, i step down from my bed and moved near window. I opened my window to enjoy cool air. As i opened i saw lonely moon shining and starts thinking around.

Cool breeze was touching my skin. I was feeling good i felt alive.

After few minutes my eyes zeroed on my neighbour window which located exact front of my window.
Aryan was standing their already staring at me.
My heart beat skipped a sec when i saw him staring at me with a smile

I closed my window to avoid him
And started to walk restless in my room.

Why he wants to make friendship with a girl who fights with him all the time & using shits against him. I questioned myself.

He is from america, he knows nothing about me. If he'll get to know, then for sure he will react same as my society did.

I fell extreme sadness in me and my heart cried out.

Ting Tong bell rangs

I wiped my tears and hurried to open the door

I unlocked the door. Bhai came in, i saw his wet eyes but not dared to ask him.

He went straight to his room without contacting my eyes and bang the door with a loud noise

Next day

I woke up early in the morning and prepared breakfast.

Bhai was still sleeping & i thought not to disturb him remembering his upset mood.

I was getting late for college , i kept searching car keys. I wasn't knowing where bhai kept keys or i say thrown.

However i end up choosing walking as my transportation. I was walking on my road holding my project which was to submit today.

A scootie stopped my way. She removed her helmet and it was simran.

Hi Aashna she said.

I don't want favour i replied

She sighed and said I'm not doing any favour i know your getting late so please sit.

If i keep arguing with her then i may stand out even today. So i sat without any further argument

We reached college. In parking area we saw atul flirting with a girl.

I saw simran's expression. Tears were flowing from her eyes. I burst into laugh

I told you not to put yourself in this matters. Love shove is all bakwas. I said her still laughing

If you don't think me as your friend then its ok . But atleast don't make fun of my feelings she said in sad tone

Okay i said. deep inside my heart i was feeling guilt. But i acted as if i don't care.

She started walking further leaving me behind. Atul came forward and started troubling her.

He took her book which was in her hand and hung in the air holding by himself and told her to take from his hand.
She tried hard to take book from his hand but he was troubling her a lot.

I was watching all this from far. I thought to help her. When Atul saw me coming towards them, he suddenly gave her book back stating sorry madam.

I controlled my smile which was appearing on my face. & i tried to be stern in my words.

What happen simran?? Any problem i asked her sweetly.
I saw atul. his face turned pale as if he saw a ghost in front of him.
By seeing his face i was unable to controlled my laughter and burst out laughing madly.

Atul shocked. & then he smile sheepishly

Simran was already lost in starting at him but soon i saw atul also starting her back.

I fake cough to break their wonderland

They broke their eye contact and started seeing here and there for no reason.

Kuch dhoondh rahe ho kya?? i asked chuckling at them
Haan kisi ki muskurahat goom gayi hai. Atul said giving a love look to simran and then simran smiled

Simran walked further in shyness and i followed her.
Ahmmm ahmmmm someone is very happy i said in teasing tone to embarrass her

Heyyyy Aashna!!! A voice came from behind. I turned and saw Atul calling me
He came running towards me.
Aashna as i see, you are wearing white cotton suit today. If you don't mind can i get a piece of your dupatta please.

I got shocked at her statement.
Oye Hello.. iam not having any crush on you. Simran is having a crush on you ask her dupatta my tongue slipped and then i realised i revealed her truth out. I bit my tongue in guilt

Wooohhh... he said like he was amazed by hearing those words. But continued asking my dupatta piece

He said to bring my ears near to him. I pulled my ears towards him

Today there is a surprise test i heard when mam was speaking to her colleague. so i have a plan which can save me by writing surprise test. He whispered in my ear

I quickly tear my dupatta and gave it to him. I don't know what he was going to do. But i thought it will be fun to watch him.
