Chapter 27

Ashana's pov: i rushed to home to narrate bus missed tragedy to mom. I was knowing mom would be too worried about my late arrival.

I knocked on door. But it was half open so i step in quickly.

Mommmmm moooommm i called out

I searched in kitchen hall bedroom but she wasnt their. Suddenly a voice came from upstairs.

Ashnaaa iam here, have some work il come down she shouted from upstairs

Ok mom i shouted back and kept my bags on couch

I was drinking water

Aashna she said and was about to step down

Suddenly,

Her leg got twisted and then slipped and she rolled down hitting her head each stair

Maaaaa i yelled and ran towards her

She was laying unconscious on the floor drenched in blood

I was stunned not believing what just happened few seconds before. Tears started flowing down from my eyes my brain stopped to work. I wasnt knowing what to do at the moment.

Maa maa i said holding her face in my palm

Bhai was out of station. I quickly called ambulance

Accident was flashing in my mind. I was hell worried. My throat became dry i stayed numb seeing her in unconscious condition holding her hand sitting in ambulance.

Ambulance was on maximum speed but still i started yelling at driver to reach it fast. I was going mad.

Soon we reached hospital and we rushed towards ICU. I told them to do it fast.

I stood out of the ICU with teary eyes. It was already breaking my heart to see her in such a state. When nobody understood me she does it was my mom who always been my bestfriend. She was the only reason i was living and now she became quite at sudden

I took out my phone and called Mr.pa but it was of no use it was unreachable. I was breaking, i was sweating and moreover i was alone.

With no one to turn to, only one option remained. I called up aryan and told him everything, i told him how Sudden incident took place on stairs and within a seconds how everything got changed. Slowly, an unknown weight was leaving my body as i cried my heart out to aryan.

He asked me the name of the hospital and told me not to worry. Within fifteen minutes i saw him coming towards me.

When i saw him i felt so vulnerable as if without him my existence was futile.

He carried so much of positive energy with him that i instantly knew that things would be taken care of.

Aryan i said and hugged him not caring about the people arround us who were looking at us in shock.

Its ok, iam here dont cry. He said patting me on my back.

He broke the hug

Ssshhhh he said and placed his finger on my trembling lips.

I cant tell that how much iam glad that you came here i said still sobbing

I cant tell you that how surprised iam that you called me. You dont have to go through this alone He said wiping tears from my face.

I cant see maa in such state. I said crying clenching his shirt

Not to worry aashu, not to worry just take care of yourself and be strong. Your mom needs you He said making me comfortable

How I'll manage all this alone I said with teary eyes looking into his eyes.

And i did

We sat on bench. My hand was shaking badly but aryan hold giving me a hope of light

I dont want to loose my mom. She is the only reason of my life, without her i would have died before itself but she kept me alive. I have already went through a hell now i dont want to go through the same.

I kept thinking and my eyes kept flowing tears.

After few hours doctor came out of the ICU

Me and aryan rushed towards him wanting to know about her recovery

We cannot tell anything now until she get into her sense. She had already lost her blood a lot. Her head is seriously injured. We have done our work lets wait for few hours. Doctor said

Can we see her doctor? Aryan asked holding me from side

Yes doctor permitted

We entered into the room. She was laying on the bed with so many wires around her.

I sat on stool beside her bed and hold her hand

Maa please wakeup soon. Your daughter wants you. U know na maa iam nothing without you. Who will love me and care me, who will scold me on my wrong doings. I whispered slowly

My tears fell on her hand but she didn't react. She didn't react a bit and it was making it more difficult for me

Maa you have to wakeup for me u cannot leave me like this i cannot tolerate your silence even for few days i said in stern voice. Giving her warns

"You are my only family ma "i said and broke down again putting my head on her chest

Aryan placed his hands on my shoulder. Suddenly doctor step in and said us to leave as the patient needs rest.

I step out and i was standing quietly in the corridor.

Ashna chal kuch kha le, do din se tune kuch thikse khaya nahi hai Aryan said

Are you mad? My mom is struggling between death and life and your saying me to have some food i barked on him
