I watched the trees as we're passing by to visit people's house. I sighed to myself, this isn't my thing. But I still doing this. I glanced to the driver side, saw my best friend drive in pure focus on the road. Too bad my other best friend couldn't join us.

"Hey, I'm gonna get some nap. Wake me up when we reach, okay?", I told my best friend, Garrett. He replied okay and not wasting time, I let sleep took over me.

"Am, wake up. We're here", someone shook me, not to forget to poke my side. I opened my eyes lazily, looking around to see where we are. My eyes immediately widened and my hands are shaking. This could not be it.

"Uh Gar, why are we here?", I asked. He doesn't know about my past. Yet. I closed my eyes, thinking this might be just a dream.

"This is my aunt's house. They invited us. Come on", he answered and opened the car door. Great, life really hate me now.

I don't know how long I stay inside the car until Garrett opened the passenger door and asked me if I'm coming.

God, please send someone to take me away.

But my prayers wasn't answered. We walked to the front door; me stay one meter behind Garrett. I'm not ready for this. I must be off to other planet when I saw the door opened when Garrett doesn't even knock or ring the bell. Maybe he did, because I'm not here.

It's must his relatives opened the door because it's not someone I knew. I breath relieved. Garrett walked in and dragged me along with him.

Suddenly, all the chatter stopped and everyone turned to look at us.

One word on my mind:

Awkward.
