Prologue

"Why? Why would you do this?" I shouted tears streaming down my face. 

"Because, you deserve to know. I'm not going let you get hurt, I promise." Axel said, placing his hand on my cheek wiping away my tears. 

"I don't believe you, all you have ever done is hurt me. So why stop now?" I whispered looking him in the eye.

"I care, okay? I care about you, you don't have to believe me but I do care about you." He said, his eyes flicking to my eyes and then down to my lips. 

"I-I don't know what to do a-anymore. I'm a fool, thinking that my own boyfriend wasn't cheating when he was and then that my brother's so called best friend cares about me. This is bullshit!" I shouted, he moved backwards leaning against the doorframe of the kitchen.

"Why did you come here? To yell at me or something?" He shouted back. 

"No, yes, maybe. I don't know." I yell, he moved forward putting his arms on the counter trapping me against it. 

"What do you want?" He said with a deep and husky voice, I licked my bottom lip and then bit it. 

"I-I don't k-know, I'm so confused." I said trying to keep my eyes focus on his brown eyes.

"If you don't know then show me." He said with his husky voice and I bit back my whimper.
