Relationship With My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 5

~ Katelyn's P.O.V ~ 

So far diner with Axel was good, we had finished our meals and now we're just waiting on dessert. Axel  had ordered a cheesecake where as I ordered a triple chocolate fudge cake. 

It felt like someone is staring at me, so I looked up and saw Axel looking at me which made me blush. 

"What?" I asked. 

"Nothing." he said.

"If it's nothing then why are you staring at me?" I asked.

"Because I'm admiring your beauty. Is that so hard to believe?" He said.

"No but when you say something corny or cheesy it makes you seem sappy." I said.

"I'd rather be a gentleman who is sappy than an asshole who just wants your body." He said.

"True, anyway what are we going to do about us? Cause there is clearly some stuff we need to talk about." I said just getting straight to the point.

" Yeah, we do. How about why we had sex?" He stated which made me flush red.

"You know why it happened, Axel. So the main thing we need to talk about is the relationship part of us? Is there going to be an us or not? I don't want to be played around by you, especially when you're my brother's best friend and I don't want it ruined because of something that happened between us." I said. 

"You know how I feel for you, Kate, I can't stop my feelings just as much as you can. I'm not going to hide them for any longer, I've hid them for 9 years. I've tried not falling for you and I've tried pushing my feelings away by boning other girls but it never works." He explained. 

"Axel, you don't need to explain anything to me, I just want to know the truth about us? Or even if there is an us?" I replied.

"Yes, I want there to be an us. But do you? You're only just got out of a relationship with a cheating bastard, now you wondering if there is an us." He stated. 

"I do, Axel, okay I want to be with you. Ever since you we're 8 and I was 6, you would come round to play with Cody but you would come and play with my toys with me or you would let me join in with whatever you and Cody were doing. I never told anyone this but can you remember the day when Cody broke your nose?" I asked. 

"Yeah, but only little bits and pieces why?" He asked. 

"Let me talk you through the day." I said. 

*Flashback*

Cody was laying on the sofa ill, I was outside in the treehouse playing a princess whilst Axel was standing on the ground.

"Princess Kate, I will slay the deadly dragon and save you, my princess." Axel said making me giggle. 

"Oh Prince Axel, please save me." I said giggling. Axel ran around the the tree shouting 'die dragon'. Moments later, he stood back where he was before running and looked up and me with a loving smile. 

"My princess I stayed the dragon, it's safe for you to come down." He said, I climb down the stairs of the treehouse were I am met with Axel holding his hand out. I place my hand in his and continue to walk towards the blanket we had set out earlier. We sat down on it and pretended to have a dinner, once we had finish we walked over to the treehouse stairs and stood there.

"I didn't think you have thanked me yet, princess." He said.

"I haven't have I, well I'm sorry and thank you Prince Axel for saving me from the deadly dragon." I said and then kiss his cheek. 

"You're welcome, Princess Kate but I believe and a Prince should always be kissed on the lips as a thank you." He said looking at me.

"Axel, I don't know. My brother is only inside and anyone can come out and see us. You know what Cody will do if we do kiss." I said looking down.

"Kate, no one will find out, I promise. It will be quick and it's only right for a prince and princess to kiss." He said placing his hands on my waist.

"Okay, Prince Axel, I thank you for you're kind services and dinner." I said with a smile and leant forward and kissed him. 

"What the hell are you doing?" Cody said making us pull away from each other.

"N-nothing." Axel stuttered.

"Nothing, it didn't look like nothing. You were kissing my little sister who is younger than you and I told you to stay away from her." He said angry.

"What? You can't do that, Cody. I can be near anyone who I want to be." I said.

"Well i'm saying you can't be near each other." My brother said. "And you go." He said pointing to Axel.

"Fine." Axel said coming over to hug me but Cody pushed him back and punch him in the nose were I could hear a cracking noise, I screamed and ran over to Axel but he was unconscious.

*End of Flashback* 

"That's what happened." Axel said

"Yeah,but that was my first kiss." I said looking down at my lap.

"Really? Was it good?" He asked.

"Yea but the kisses now are way better." I said.

"Good, come on." He said standing up and dropping $50 on the table and walked over to his car and started driving away.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Back to mine, we're gonna talk and watch someone movies." He said with a smile.

"Okay, that sound great." I said. 

When we got to his, we went to the living room and sat on the couch. 

"What do you want to watch?" He asked. 

"Um, what's the choice's?" I asked. 

"We have Pride, Prejudice and Zombies or Central Intelligence." He said.

"Pride, Prejudice and Zombies." I said standing up and walking towards his kitchen and grabbing to soda's then heading back into the room and sitting next to Axel and the film started to play. 

Halfway through film, I saw Axel stare at me. I looked at him.

"Is there something on my face?" I asked

"No why?" He replied.

"You're staring at me." I stated.

"Well can't I admire such beauty." He said looking from my eyes to my lips.

"Maybe, maybe not." I said biting my lip, he leant forward his lips inches away for mine. I could feel his breath fanning over my lips.

"You shouldn't do that." He said

"Why?" I asked.

"Because it does things." He said just looking at my mouth.

"What kind of things?" I asked hesitantly.

"A load of things." He said crashing out lips together which I instantly kissed back adding more het into the kiss. 

He placed his hands around my waist and pulled me onto his lap, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me. He bit on bottom lip, I refused to let him take control. His hands moved to my ass and he squeezed my bum cheeks, making me gasp his tongue entered my mouth. Our tongues moving against each other, he took control and laid me down on the couch without breaking the kiss. He moved his lips from my lips to my neck, placing soft kisses and biting my neck every so often making me moan a little. I tugged on the bottom of his top and pulled it off, he pulled off mine and continued to kiss me. He pulled back and moved his lips down to my neck, I pulled back as it was getting pretty hot in here.

"What? What's wrong?" He asked breathlessly.

"N-nothing, just want to take everything slow,okay?" I said.

"Of course, princess. Come here." He said as he opened his arms.

I layed into his arms and continued to watch the film.
