Day 1

I saw you walking towards me in class. You introduced yourself and smiled, asking to be my partner. Everyone else was looking at you like you were crazy.

Who are you?

Day 2

I had decided to ignore you since I felt like you needed something from me. I didn't want to be used and have all the work pushed onto me.

You kept on following me around.

"What do you need Jungkook?" I irritatingly asked as I turned around, making you stop in your tracks and looking at me with wide eyes.

"I-I just want to be partners..." You looked down and I instantly felt regret for acting that way towards you. "You never have anyone to work with. I thought I could change that?" I felt myself smiling slightly.

Damn you Jungkook.

Day 6

We sat down at the rooftop of the school. You took out your history book and started flipping through the pages. "Who should we do our report on?"

"I don't know," I shrugged as I kept on eating my food. "You decide. I'll do research and we can write it together." You smiled and agreed as you looked back at the book.

I sneaked a look at you. You looked cute focusing on our project.

Day 15

"Y/N! Let's go out!" You yelled catching up to me in the hallway. Of course at first I thought you meant as in actually going out so I opposed at first. "Why?! I wanna go out to a cafe with you."

That's what you meant.

I nodded as you started giving me a big smile and hugged me. "Great! Let's go after school!"

Day 20

Why does this project have to be so long? Not that I minded since I was with you of course. You who gave me a reason to smile. You who came up to me and asked to be my partner. You who became my first ever real friend.

"Hey you." I turned around to see a group of girls surrounding me at my locker. "I have this question that I'm dying with curiosity to have answered. Can you answer it for me?" I didn't give a response.

I already knew who these girls were. They were fans of you. You were one of the most popular guys in our school and you decided to be my partner. Someone who was never noticed.

She took a step closer to me, "How in the world did someone like you," She poked my chest hard with her finger, "get Jungkook to be your partner?" I didn't give another response because it was a simple answer.

All you did was ask me.

"What did you do? Bribe him to do his homework for the rest of the year? Threaten him? Promise to do something to him that no other girl would-" Before she could finish her sentence I slapped her. I knew you wouldn't be the type of person to make promises like that. I wasn't the type of person either so to hear those words coming out of her mouth I couldn't bear to let her finish it.

I did regret it after what happened after though...

Day 30

"I'll finish the project by myself." I stood in front of you at the rooftop. I looked at your face and all I could see was shock, I took the books that we used out of your hands and left you at the rooftop.

I should've known that I shouldn't become partners with you.

I should've known we weren't meant to be friends.
