charlotte eyes scanned the last paragraph of e!news, her heart dropping with every word. she was the heartbreaker, not shaun. she had screwed things up, not shaun. but maybe she had. maybe she had let sebastian get to close. she had set herself up for this.

she was already late for the line run through, but a text from lizzie linked to the article made her stop in the hallway.

the door opened wide and anthony russo strode out, "there you are, charlotte. we were waiting for you." he ushered her into the large room, sebastian sat at the table.

his eyes quickly took her in, and he knew something was wrong. he had heard the break-up rumors, but the state she was in confirmed it. he stood up, walking towards her.

"hey, come sit down." he gently grabbed her shoulders, leading her towards a chair, "how are you doing?" he asked her leaning forward.

"i'm fine, sebastian." she brushed off his question. not here, sebastian. she thought, not now.

he nodded, rolling his eyes.

anthony begun the conversation, but it was severely obvious that charlotte wasn't paying attention.

"psst." sebastian leaned forward again, whispering in her ear.

"bug off, seb and pay attention." she snapped.

"stop lying to me and i will."

"i'm not lying!" she whispered back sharply.

"so you're fine?"

"yes."

"kids are you paying attention?" kevin laughed. charlotte turned about five shades reder and sunk into her chair.

they continued talking, anthony about something with the flow of scene 12 and how the menace was supposed to call sebastian james, not bucky. susan, from wardrobe talked about costumes and one of the many makeup girls was speaking at one point, but they both weren't listening.

charlotte stole glances of sebastian, his hair, his eyes, just him in general. how was she supposed to concentrate.

"what do you want to do?" sebastian finally asked as they walked down the hallway together.

"sleep." she started, looking back at him, "and go to beach. maybe eat ice cream and pizza, but i havent thought that far."

sebastian laughed, "you're cute, and handling this breakup well. how are you?"

"why do you keep asking me that?" she whipped around, stopping them in the middle of the hallway.

"because break-ups are hard, especially when someone screws you over like that."

charlotte didn't answer.

"are you okay?" he gripped her shoulders.

"not here, seb. i'll start crying and it won't be pretty."

"you could never not be pretty, charlie." sebastian looked down at her, stilling holding her shoulders.

"you're still a sap." charlotte brushed off his compliment.

"and you still love me, so its okay."
