Chapter 4

It’s been a month since I had the nightmare and Steve and I have been getting closer. We go everywhere together, train together. Right now were about to spar again. "How many times do we have to do this till you realised I am better?" I asked him as we circled each other on the mats. Every time we train and I do something better than him, he wants me to do it over and over till we are tied or he is better. "Till I win" Steve told me. I put my fists down "is that it do you just wanna win against me and leave, is that all I mean to you" I said at the end I put my head in my hands with a fake sob coming out. I know it was wrong to trick him but I couldn't help it. He came over to me and put his hands on my shoulders. "I'm sorry; I didn't mean it like that". He said. I kept fake crying. I made a note to thank Alexis for teaching me how to fake cry. When he was close enough to me I spun around and down then hit his leg so he fell over, next I jumped on him and pinned him down. "Don’t let your guard down" I said while holding him down. He looked confused for a second than flipped us then got off me and started walking away. I quickly jumped up "Steve, what's wrong" I asked as I walked up behind me. "I thought I hurt you, made you cry, but you were just playing with me" he sound so hurt while saying that. "Steve I was just joking around I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry" I said touching his shoulder. I don't know how it happened on minute I was standing behind him with my hand on his shoulder and now I am on my back on the ground with him pinning me down. "Don’t let your guard down" he said with a smirk. Oh my god he smirked. I started laughing. "You can’t turn my words against me.” “Yes I can." With that same smirk still on his face, he got off me and pulled me to my feet. "You have got to stop spending time with Tony" I told him as we walked over to our bags to get our water bottles. "What's wrong with hanging out with me?" Tony asked coming into the training room. I pulled my phone out of my bag while saying "he smirked like you do, it's creepy" I took a picture of Tony. "Um, Auzzie. Why did you take a picture of Tony?" Steve asked looking confused at me. "I wanted prof that Tony was in the training room when I tell Fury that Tony was in the training room he would never believe me" I said while grabbing my bag and walking out the room and towards Fury's office. I knocked on the door. "COME IN" a voice boomed inside. I walked in and saw Fury working on paper work. He looked up then went straight back to doing his work. "What do you want?" he asked. I put my phone down in front of him with the picture of Tony on it. "He went into the exercise room. Right now I believe he is actually doing exercise with Steve" I told him. He pulled up some screens and went to look at the security cameras I walked to stand behind him to look at the screens and saw that Tony and Steve were fighting. “10 bucks on Steve" I told Fury. He put his hand out to shake mine. We watched them fight and it was pretty close but in the end Steve won. I thanked Fury for the money. "Since when did he learn to fight like that" I asked Fury as I started too heard to the door. "Don't Know, when I am working late I see him on the screen practicing" he looked up and straight into my eyes "almost like he was fighting someone, an invisible someone" he finished off still looking at me. "Fury, uh um maybe you should, you know, sleep more because um we both know that no one can go invisible" I told him I kept stuttering, I am a terrible liar. "Sure" he said, I could tell he didn't believe me, I could feel him watching my back. So I quickly tried to change the subject. "So why have you been up late, what are you working on?" I asked him. "Nothing" he said. After that I walked out and towards the training room again. When I got there I called Tony over to me. "Yes?" he said smirking. "Wipe that smirk off your face," I whispered-yelled at him. "What did I do?" He asked me in a whisper. "Stop with midnight training" I told him. He looked shocked that I knew that "how did you find that out?" He yelled. A few of the other people that were training looked up at us. "Quiet, there are cameras everywhere, Fury saw." I said. After that I left and went to my room to text my sister.
