Chapter 10- The Date

"Hey Bethany the fair is on today if you're ready to go today or if you still wanna go" he said blushing while looking down. "I still intend to go, just let me get changed I will be back down soon" I told him than took the escalator up to my level, I walked in my room to the closet and just as I was about to pick out some jeans and a shirt Natasha walked in and closed the door behind her. "You go shower and I will set your clothes out and don't even try and argue with me on this" she told me and pushed me toward my bathroom. I went it and showered shaved my legs and washed my hair. I got out and dried myself off. When I walked back into my bedroom there was a white sundress and a blue cardigan with white flats. I went and shut the door; I put the clothes on and looked in the mirror. I really liked it I put my hair to the side. I went to the elevator and went down to the lounge room. When I walked in all the eyes in the room turned to me. "Well grandpa if you don't want her I could take her off your hands" Tony said. "You don't even have a chance Stark" I told him I walked up to Steve. "Are you ready to go?" I asked him but he was still staring wide eye at me. So Tony walked up to him and nudged him. That knocked him out of his trance. "Ready" he said give me his arm to take. I put my hand in the crock of his elbow. He took me down to the garage and we hoped in one of Starks many cars. Steve was driving I was surprise he knew how but when you work for S.H.I.E.L.D anything could happen.

----------Car ride--------

We had a fun car ride we laughed a lot I loved hanging out with him. When we pulled up at the fair Steve hoped out and came around and opened my door for me. We walked up to the ticket person and Steve brought us tickets. We went in and after walking around we tried different some different rides. After a while we went to the food stalls and got some fairy floss, drinks and proper food. We went to one of those games where you throw darts at balloons and get a prize. Steve did it and got me a little penguin. "Excuse me could you please win the baby elephant for my daughter, I am terrible at these games?" asked a lady that looked to be in her earlier thirty's with a daughter that looked five or six. "Well of course ma'am." the lady paid for the next go and Steve got the baby elephant of the first go. When the man running the stand handed him the baby animal Steve knelt down to the size of the little girl who was hidden behind his mother. Steve held the toy out to her and she reached out to grab the toy then hid behind her mum again then mumbled a thank you. After that me and Steve wondered around for a while and looked at different stalls. It was getting late so we decided to go on the Ferris wheel. Once we seated we waited to get to the top. It seemed so cliché when we were at the top because the sun was setting. "This is amazing!" I said, I've always loved sun sets and sun rises. I felt Steve move his head and turn it to look at me. I sat up a bit more so I could turn my head and look at him as well. He learned into me and his mouth touched mine and fireworks exploded in my stomach. We stopped kissing when the Ferris wheel started moving again. I blushed really hard and looked awhile from his face. "If you regret it I'll understand" Steve told me with an unreadable expression on his face. "I don't regret it but I have to show you something before this" I used my finger to indicate us "goes anywhere I need to show you something". When we got off the Ferris wheel I grabbed his hand and started to move fast through the crowd. "Why are you moving so fast? Where are we going?" he asked as I started dragging him through the forest.
