When I woke up, I could hear the voices. Wells, Caitlin, and Davenport. They were close by, talking about me. What was happening, and of course, Chase's amnesia.

"It's a temporary side affect," Wells explained. "He must have hit his head, which caused the memory loss. Barry and Cisco are working on something to help speed up the process, but time can only tell when he'll be fully healed."

"What about Bree?" Davenport asked.

"She's in shock," Caitlin took over. "She's under a lot of stress right now. I suggest you let her take it easy for a while."

I swallowed, and looked at the ceiling. So, in other words, I'm crazy, and useless. Thanks.

I sigh, leaning my head against the soft pillow resting on the bed. I shouldn't be complaining. I had no right to, I wasn't the one who almost died, or who lost their memories.

My head throbbed, but I sat up anyway, dangling my feet off the side of the bed. The world spun, and for a minute I thought I might pass out again, but I managed to keep myself upright. I made my way slowly towards the door, and opened it, only to be face to face with Davenport.

"Bree! You're awake, how are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," I said, trying to push past him. "How's Chase?"

"He's going to be fine," Davenport reassured me, not budging from his place in the doorway. "You, however, are on bed rest."

"No, no, you can't do that. I need to see him, please!"

"Your body needs time to recover, Bree. You were in shock, and you just shut down. You need to take it easy. I promise, he's fine. They're doing everything they can to fix his memory loss, okay?"

I took a deep breath, and stopped pushing him away. "Fine. I'll go back to bed, but only because I want to."

He rolled his eyes. "Get some rest, I'll be by later to checkup on you."

The door closed, and I made my way back to the bed. Truth be told, I was exhausted. I don't know what exactly happened when I blacked out, but it must have been pretty serious. Even that little movement took the energy right out of me.

The only thing that comforted me as I laid back down was that Chase was alive, and his condition was temporary. I don't think I would have been able to sleep if it wasn't.

This is really short, I apologize. I have no idea where I planned on taking this story, so I'm trying to work around the massive plot holes and story lines I was making.
