the first time i met you,

was in a coffee shop 

called the kim brothers.

you were sitting 

on the corner

of the room,

a book opened right

before you, but your

eyes were on the window,

watching as the

raindrops slide

down and down.

i sat a few tables

away from you,

yet your bright,

mint hair caught 

my attention.

and i thought,

why would god

create such a

beautiful creature?

and then,

you turned

your head

and met my 

gaze.

you smiled.
