Tally marks

A/N this is an AU one shot so You aren't a demigod

You looked at your arm you had so many marks on your right arm. Most of them were black others just faded into scars. Thoses tally marks showed who you loved but didn't love you back. You decided to not to fall in love with anyone because your arn is already full of marks and you didn't want people to take pity on you. Leo sat on his bed thinking about how many marks he had on his left arm. He wished that he could be like Nico who found his true love at the age of 14 but no Leo was already 19 and had about a dozen marks on his arm. He sighed and walked into his repair shop. Nyssa looked after the shop when he wasn't around. "Hey Leo." Nyssa said casually. "Hey. Any repairs we need to finish today?" Leo asked hoping she would say no. "Yeah um a girl said that she needed her megaphone fixed." Nyssa said looking at her notepad. Leo nodded. Leo looked at the megaphone and smiled it was just like the one he made for Y/N. Y/N was his best friend but then she disappeared from him. He got to work and as soon as he finished a girl walked in. He looked up and saw a girl with (H/C) hair, (e/c) eyes and she wasn't very tall she was probably about 5'0. She looked almost like Y/N but she looked taller than her. The last time Leo saw Y/N was 4 years ago and she told me why she left. She left because she wanted to try and find her mom and he never saw her since then. The girl came in and said "Hi my name is Y/N and I came to pick up my megaphone." Leo's eyes widen. "It can't be." He breathed out. Y/N look at him confused. "How did you get the megaphone?" Leo asked. Leo can feel a tally mark being recolor. Leo has fallen in love with his best friend a long time ago and thought that on her quest she died so the tally started to fade. "Um I got it from my best friend who I had a crush on since 5th grade." She said. "Don't you remember me?" Leo asked. Y/N eyes widen. Her mouth curled upward as she smiled. "Leo??? Is it really you?" Y/N asked with tears flowing down her face. Leo nodded and hugged her. She hugged back as she nuzzled her head into his neck. They stayed like this for about 5 minutes but to them it felt like an eternity. Then they thought at the same time I'm never letting you go again.
