I was working on a new invention in bunker 9. Without any help from Leo. I'm like the weakest child of Hephaestus. And it's my mom's fault. When I was just a baby my mom dropped me on "accident" and ever since then my leg has been crippled. Now I had to use crutches and I couldn't run or fight. All I could do is use my invention to fight for me. I didn't really fit in at school. I was abused by everyone. Including my mom. Everyone made fun of me and my crippled leg and how I'm twitchy even my mom thought I was a freak. So one day I just decided to run away from home. And that is how I ended up at camp no one cared about me in the world until I came her.
I was working on a new invention to help me with daily activities and act like a brace when I needed it to. Other people might just buy a brace but no what do I do? I build a mini festus to help me. I was almost done with her too. All I needed was a special piece of metal called Midas gold. I knew I had a piece in the cabin so I grabbed my crutches and limped to my cabin. I sat on my bed and looked under my pillow to see a note and no Midas gold. I opened the note to see cursive writing. It read:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I dead because of you
I took the Midas gold you were going to use
And now you'll find it in a place that is new
Follow this clue to a place were water and land meet there will be no gold but another clue.

I read this note over and over and over again until I understood what was going on. Someone thought it would be funny to take my Midas gold and now I would have to go all over camp just to find it. I thought about the clue and realized that I had to go to the my LEAST favorite place. The beach.

Time skip by Erin's hair salon

I limped to the beach and saw another piece of paper in the sand. I set myself down on the sand and picked up the letter. It said:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
So will my face when I see you
My riddle are upsetting and annoying to you but don't worry you are almost through now go to the place where you got your crutches.

Timp skip by Judy's cafe

I hate this place. Why because my leg also needed steel rods and every couple of weeks I need to tighten them. I walked into the infirmary and saw another letter. It stated:
Roses are red
Ah forget it how about I just give you the clue.
You had your first kiss here with a jerk who you dumped in 2 months.

This person really knows me well because I never told anyone where I had my first kiss. Except for my best friend. Leo,Travis and my lovable boyfriend Connor. I started limping to the river and saw a letter on the tree. It said:
Ok so no more poems
Now go to the place that you mostly hung out at

I thought to myself and then realized that I had to back to Bunker 9. But then I realized one thing there was no one at camp. "What the fudge is going on?" I said to myself. As I started to limp to bunker 9 I started to think on who could have done this. It could have been Annabeth or it could have been the lovable Connor. If Connor did do this he must have used the other half of his brain Travis. I finally arrived at bunker 9 and started to open the door. I looked around and screamed out "Connor I know you are here." Sure enough a Connor came out of the shadows. "Now where is your dimwit of a brother." I said. Sure enough a Travis came out from behind Festus. Festus creeked saying "20 dracamas man." I rolled my eyes. "Where is my idiot brother." I said. Then from behind me Leo came out of the toolshed. "Now would any of the idiots tell me why you took my Midas gold? And give it back to me." I said on a demanding voice. "Umm happy birthday?" Leo squeaked. "W-what?" I stammered. From behind me I heard noise makers. My eyes started to tear up. "Y/N? Are you ok?" Connor asked. I would have hugged him but I needed to hold my crutches. "Thank you." I whispered. I started to cry which I never did in public. Connor looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I never had a birthday party before." I whispered. Everyone looked at me in shock. I limped back to my cabin to get away from the commotion.

Connor's P.O.V
I couldn't believe what I just heard. Y/N has never had a birthday party. I started to pace around the room until I realized that Y/N was gone. I ran out of the bunker and to her cabin. I opened the door to see a hallway. The Hephaestus cabin was like the coolest cabin because they had rooms but they also had roommates. But the good thing is that Y/N's roommate is Leo. I started to walk to Y/N's room when heard someone crying. I knocked on the door. The door opened by itself. There on her bed was a Y/N crying and a little dragon that looked like festus. I walked over to her and started to comfort her. We stayed like this for about 10 minutes until she looked up at me and I looked at her. "I'm sorry." She said. I looked at her confused. "I'm sorry that I left. I just got nervous. I never knew that I had a birthday." She mumbled against my chest. I picked up her head to look at. She was beautiful even without trying.

Y/N's P.O.V
Connor looked at me and I looked at Connor. Then he looked at my lips then at my eyes as if he was asking permission. I nodded. He slowly leaned in just as I did. When our lips finally meet it felt like fireworks. After what felt like a eternity we pulled away. "How come you like me?" I asked. I caught him by suprise. "How could people even talk to me? I just a scraggly little runt that is always weak. No one cares about me they are just nice to me out of pity." I said.

Connor's P.O.V
I chuckled. She is exactly like he brother. "What's so funny?" She asked. "You are just like your brother." I said. She looked at me confused "But you want to know what? You are smart, lovable, kind, gentle, patient, caring, beautiful and you are just overall awesome." I said as she blushed. "Never call yourself weak. You a strong independent person." After the inspiring speech I gave her the Midas gold and she finished up the mini festus. "Her name is Felix." Y/N said "She will do many thing but she'll be a brace for me." I honestly wasn't listening. I was too focus on my amazing beautiful girlfriend.
