Yooyoung's POV
I sat in my room, wondering who this girl Ren and Minhyun were talking about. I took out a piece of paper to jot down what I'd learned so far.
Name: Minki.
Gender: Girl.
The problem with her coming back: Ren and Minhyun (and possibly the whole of Nu'est) won't debut.
Observation: Seems like she's been here before, and Ren is connected to her in a way that makes Minhyun panic. Somehow, skinship will somehow bring Minki back.
...Okay.
This sounds like summoning magic or something... and magic doesn't exist. I slammed my fist on my desk in frustration.
"AARGH!!" I yelped in pain.
"Are you okay, Yooyoung? You look like you're going to jump off a cliff or something," Yoojo-unni asked. She was sprawled on her bed playing on her laptop. We were roomates. Unni liked to collect stuffed animals and hang glow-in-the-dark stars from the ceiling. I was okay with it since I didn't mind what happened to our room, as long as I can still sleep on my bed, and no one messed around with my clothes.
"It's just that I have a problem that I can't solve," I explained.
"Is it math? I can help," Unni offered.
"Ani, it's kind of a comprehension-logic problem," I answered. If this Minki was here before, then wouldn't her classmates know about her?

Ren's POV
"Dude, that Yooyoung gets on my nerves!" I trembled in irritation. We were in my bedroom, and Minhyun was sitting on Baekho's bed.
"She's creepy. She keeps on following me around," Minhyun agreed, pulling out our math book. Baekho entered in the room and sat in the desk since his bed was occupied.
"Who are you guys talking about?" Baekho asked.
"What's her deal, anyways? She always looks at me like I'm weird or annoying...I'm not annoying, right?" I looked up at Minhyun, ignoring Baekho's question.
"WHO ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?!" Baekho whined.
"Yooyoung," Minhyun answered, "A little bit, Ren. But only people who have been around you for eleven years, like me, would've noticed."
"What about Yooyoung?" Baekho asked again. I sent him a withering look.
"Yooyoung's in our class now. She follows Minhyun like a puppy and looks at me like I'm poop."
"But she's so nice! When I talked to her in the kareoke room, she was like a bubbly butterfly," Baekho grinned, "She's pretty cool too, but UEE-noona is better."
"Noona?" Minhyun raised an eyebrow.
"What? Am I supposed to call Noona dongsaeng?" Baekho shrugged.
"Well, it's obvious that she likes you, Minhyun," I flipped onto my back on my bed.
"Ren, it's not like you to be so frustrated about this. You've dealed with this before," Minhyun sighed.
"She- I mean, he has?" Baekho wondered.
"Dude, I have four apparently "hot" brothers. It's impossible for there to not be any annoying girls trying to get on my nerves or for there to be girls who try to get in my good books."
"You have four brothers?!" Baekho's eyes widened in surprise.
"Yup. Why do you think she turned out this way? If she didn't have four brothers, she wouldn't even be here right now," Minhyun snorted.
