*Wait...w-what's going on?! I just need directions...is this the police station?* MinKi thought.
"So did you already fill out the application form?" Jonghyun asked, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"What form?"
"You need a form to try out, duh," Jonghyun smirked as he grabbed a piece of paper from a pile on the front desk and handed it to MinKi.
After filling it out, she handed the form to the person at the counter.
"Here's your number. You came at the last second, so you'll be last. For the audition, you have to sing a song in acapella (no background music) so the judges can access your talent."
As Jonghyun and MinKi were led into one of the waiting rooms, MinKi realized all the people in the waiting rooms were boys. Jonghyun was soom called up to sing.
*Why is everyone here a guy? And why do the policemen need us to sing? Maybe they're bored...* MinKi wondered.
After Jonghyun it was Minki's turn. She had decided to sing her favorite band's (B1A4) song, Only One.
The looks on the judges' faces as she walked in were priceless. They started to whisper to each other. A few whispered a bit too loud and MinKi caught their conversation.
"Why's his hair so long? Is he a rebel?"
"He almost look's like a girl."
"Shut up both of you! We're here to access talent, not looks!" a judge hissed at the other two.
"You may begin singing," he said.

Jonghyun's POV
Jonghyun saw MinKi come out of the audition room. He looked confused and sighed as he sat back down.
"Why am I doing this? I didn't know the policemen did this...." he said.
"What policemen? We're at audition!" Jonghyun said with a strange look.
"Auditions?!"
"Yeah! For Pledis!"
MinKi stared up at Jonghyun who was considerably taller than him. MinKi was really pretty and Jonghyun's heart started to beat faster.
*This is a guy, stupid!* Jonghyun mentally slapped himself. If MinKi had been a girl, he would've fallen heads over heals with him at first sight.
"Uh...Jonghyun...I think you misunderstood me when I asked you for directions, dude. I was talking about the police station," MinKi said.
MinKi was annoyed...How could she have gotten into this mess?
"Calm down. At least if you do well you'll be a step closer to stardom," Jonghyun said, trying to make the situation better.
MinKi just turned her back to him and tried to block him out.
"Come on! I'm sorry!" Jonghyun apologized.
Across the room, a guy in a red puffy jacket just stared at MinKi like he'd seen a ghost and couldn't believe his eyes. Although MinKi didn't notice it, Jonghyun did.
*It's probably because MinKi's too beautiful,* Jong hyun thought.
A man came out of the audition's room and said, "You all were fantastic, but only the top ten can make it into round two of the auditions. The number's of the people are 6,7, 14, 16, 24, 38, 45, 53, 59, 60. If you were called, you will get an email about when to come back." And the man left.
Everyone started to get up and leave.
"Yes! I made it! Did you, MinKi?" Jonghyun said.
"Yeah..." MinKi said, still refusing to look at him. She was still pissed.
A red blob started to move closer from the corner of Jonghyun's eye and he turned around. It was him. The guy in the red puffy jacket.
"MinKi!" The guy called over.
MinKi turned around and said in a confused voice, " Minhyun?"
Then she grinned.
Jonghyun felt annoyed at the reaction...although he didn't know why...
Minhyun wrapped an arm around MinKi's shoulders and messed up her hair. "What are you doing here?"
MinKi sighed, "Long story." She rolled her eyes and looked at Jonghyun. "Oh yeah, this is Jonghyun. Jonghyun, this is Minhyun, my neighbor and classmate."
"Hey," Jong hyun said as he looked at the ground.
"Yo," Minhyun winked, "Uh...you wanna tell me the story along the way home, MinKi?" he asked.
"Sure. See ya Jonghyun," MinKi said.
"Bye," Minhyun waved.
"Yeah..bye..." Jonghyun muttered at he watched their shrinking sillohuettes in the sunset.
Strangely, his heart felt like it was being squeezed.
