Minki's POV

... What?

I skimmed over the text again. Shock coursed through me. No wonder no one's been talking about me... It's because Zelo was helping me. A smile crept on to my face as I realized that he had spent a ton of time chasing Yooyoung around to keep my secret for me.

For me.

....And since when has Zelo known I was a girl?! Not to mention that he could've dropped the bomb in a much softer way...

"Ren-ah, don't stand in the middle of the sidewalk!" Baekho whined as pedestrians glared at us for blocking their path.

"E-eh?" I looked up in confusion.

"You look a bit... disoriented," Minhyun inspected my face.

"Wait till you get a look at this," I muttered, handing him my phone. Minhyun's eyebrows shot up and off of his face.

"But- What- REN! I knew it! I told you not to get to close to him! Now look at us! We're screwed!" Minhyun started panicking.

"What is it?!" Baekho snatched my phone away from Minhyun. "Omo... Who's Zelo again? Oh wait, don't tell me! I-It's..." Baekho scrunched his eyes together as if he was trying to push out some name, "One of those blonde boys!"

"Close enough," I shrugged.

"What do we do?!" Minhyun brought us back on topic.

"First we're going to move out of everyone's way. That's what we're going to do!" Baekho led us to a café.

"We don't have time to sit here!" Minhyun almost shrieked.

"Well, what can we do?" I muttered. I was worried, too, but what could I do?

"We need to come up with a plan."

After school the next day

"So what did you call me here for?" Zelo asked. "I need to go back to Yooyoung! What if she spills your-"

"Shhhhhh!!" I clamp a hand on his mouth. "We need to plan out what we're going to to make her stop trying to screw me over! You can't follow her everywhere!"

Zelo didn't say anything as if he was thinking about something similar. "Who's going to keep Yooyoung quiet?! And where's Minhyun?"

"Minhyun is with Yooyoung. The reason why she told everyone was because Minhyun started talking to me when she already blackmailed me," I shook my head.

"You know," Zelo wondered. "I missed speaking to you like this. When you were Ren, you were always so quiet and sassy. It was a bit weird, but you were pretty cool. Well," he shrugged his shoulders, "you were pretty cool for a guy."

We exited the school's premises and I lead him down a road.

"It's kind of awkward you know... since I basically confessed to your face," Zelo blushed. I giggled, forgetting about maintaining my image.

"It's ok. I don't really see you in a different light," I grinned.

"Oh," Zelo's shoulders dropped. His cute eyes angled downwards a bit, showing disappointment.

"Dude, it's okay," I bumped into him fondly. Even though the dude was annoying, I had gotten pretty close with him.

Actually, I didn't really know how to reply, so I did the best thing I could do.

I friend zoned him.

I know that people hate that, but I don't even know if I like the guy or not. It's just that when I'm around him, I get the warm fuzzy feeling and when he gets REALLY close to me, I start blushing.

That's not love. That's friendship.... right?

Sure, it was a bit different for Zelo, but isn't it supposed to be different for every person? Not everyone's the same.

"So... Where are we going?" Zelo asked, the disappointment "gone" from his eyes. He wasn't really fooling anyone, but I pretended as if I couldn't see it.

"To my house."

 Zelo's POV

To her house?!

"Why?" I asked, following Minki as she turned another corner.

"So we can plan in secret, so no one can hear us. Oh, we're here!"

She led me up a few stairs and rang on the doorbell to her house. I stared at the back of her slim figure. I wondered if this was how I would've felt if Minki was actually my girlfriend and was presenting me to her parents, all nervous and awkward.

"Dude, relax. You're too nervous. It's not as if you're my boyfriend or something," Minki laughed as if she could read my thoughts.

"I'm not nervous," I spluttered.

"Then why are you fidgeting, then?" Minki smirked; then the door opened.

"Hey Minki," a tall man yawned. I hate to say this because I'm a guy, but the guy was actually handsome. He had that tilt on his mouth that made him look like he was always smirking. Even though he was dressed in baggy sloppy clothes, he still looked smart. And his voice was almost as deep as Yongguk-hyung's!!

"Anyeong Seunghyun-oppa," Minki greeted, walking in. "This is Zelo."

Oppa?! IS THIS HER BOYFRIEND OR SOMETHING!?

"I hope you're not doing anything bad to my sister," he glared at me, looking like an authentic gangster. Oh, so he wasn't Minki's boyfriend. Phew~

"I-I'm not," I squeaked as I stepped inside. "We're just friends."

"Good," Seunghyun nodded.

"So he's the oldest brother you told me about?" I asked. Minki nodded.

"Where's Minhwan?" Seunghyun wondered.

"I think he and Jonghun went out with their friends to the movies or something," she plopped onto the couch. I followed her and sat on the other sofa, and Seunghyun sat down next to her.

"So why are you guys here? First of all, Minki, you need to... " Seunghyun glanced at me, "maintain an image."

"Don't worry. Zelo already knows," Minki brushed him off.

"So what's the plan?" I asked.

"Not so sure, but we better get started. Minhyun isn't sacrificing himself for nothing," Minki replied.

"Plan for what?" Seunghyun lifted an eyebrow.

Minki sighed and started explaining things from the start to finish. Seunghyun's calm face rose in amusement.

"Yooyoung sounds... annoying," Seunghyun smirked.

"And that's why we're making a plan," I answered.
