Minki's POV
"Oppa, hurry up!" I growled, picking up the pace. I had just received a text from Minhyun that we needed to hurry up already.
Today was the day we activated our plan. Today was the the we were going to get rid of Yooyoung. The plan may seem a bit brutal, but Yooyoung was one tough nut to crack.
"Give me a sec," Seunghyun grumbled, fumbling around with the fake gun.
"Dude, it's not like it's dangerous and if you pulled on it the wrong way it would blow off your balls or something," I rolled my eyes.
"But it has to look believable!" Seunghyun protested.
The plan was to have Minhyun bring Yooyoung over to an isolated place. The place was an alleyway that Seunghyun used to do his "gangster" business in. Since she was Yooyoung, it was pretty obvious that she'd follow Minhyun anywhere. I was supposed to go home and fetch Seunghyun, because he was basically the muscle behind the plan. Zelo was supposed to be here with us, but he had to stay after school for something, so he told us he'd meet up with us at the place where we were going to activate the plan. So basically, we were going to have Seunghyun threaten to beat up Yooyoung, so that she would stop blabbering. Seunghyun was supposed to look as intimidating as possible, she so would shut up.
Seunghyun finally fixed his gun, so we kept on walking. After turning a few corners that lead into darker and sketchier alleyways, we finally arrived at the scene.
"Oppa, what did you want to talk to me about?" Yooyoung's eyes glowed.
"Um... well, so- how was you're day today?" Minhyun squeaked, looking around frantically.
"At first, it was bad because I though Oppa stopped talking to me, but I guess that was stupid, since you're talking to me now!" Yooyoung squealed. "You even took me out on a date!"
I lifted an eyebrow and Seunghyun tried not to snicker too much as we slinked in the shadows. Somehow, even though I knew this was something we had to do, I felt a bit guilty about doing this. Two wrongs don't make a right, but there really wasn't any other way.
"Um- actually," Minhyun located us hiding in the shadow, "I need to talk to you about something."
"Like how he's not your oppa," I snorted, stepping into the light, and Seunghyun followed me. Yooyoung gasped, her eyes widening in shock as the two of us appeared.
"You're still talking to her?" Yooyoung spat. "I thought you had changed, Oppa, but I guess not. And Minki, I thought you knew better than to cross me! Don't think I didn't go around blabbering about you! I HELD UP MY PART OF THE BARGAIN!!! SO YOU NEED TO HOLD UP YOUR'S!!"
"Bargain? Do you mean blackmail?" I lifted an eyebrow.
"Anyone who threatens my little sister doesn't get off lightly," Seunghyun glared at Yooyoung, attempting to crack his knuckles.
"Well your sister needs to know how to grow up and back off," Yooyoung retorted. "Minhyun's mine."
"I'm not an object, you know!" Minhyun squeaked his eyes darting back and forth between the verbal fight that was escalating between Yooyoung and me.
"Exactly. Guys have their own free will too," Seunghyun nodded. "So I suggest you back off."
"Why you-" Yooyoung gasped.
"So I suggest you leave Minhyun alone before I break every single bone in your body. I know this place, and no one's going to call the ambulance when they see your broken body," Seunghyun threatened. I winced, a little taken aback by the cruelty.
Stick with the plan, Minki.
"Leave him alone?! Do you like my Minhyun too?!" Yooyoung narrowed her eyes at me. "You like him so much that you actually had to use physical violence to keep me away from him?! Well, just to let you know, Minhyun and I are fated to be together!"
Something inside of me snapped.
WHAT'S THIS GIRL'S PROBLEM? Why is she so hard to persuade?
"Me?! Like Minhyun?! Girl, you need to get your eyes checked! I don't like Minhyun like that! I need you to stop spreading rumors like an old hag!! I like Zelo!" I screamed.
....
An empty silence filled the alleyway.
Then I realized what I had just said.
Did I just say... I LIKED ZELO?!
