I was pretty sure that I was dreaming. For a second it felt like my heart was beating. It hadn't done that in so long. Vampire and all...
As overwhelming as that sensation was, nothing could compare me for the burning that seemed to spread through my veins with every beat. I vaguely remember screaming, but I knew it's what I was hearing and my throat felt raw because of it.
Hands gripped onto my shoulders tightly and I was suddenly being shaken. "CRYSTAL! BABY! Baby! Please wake up! I need you to wake up for me now sweetheart!"
I took in a deep breath, suddenly shooting up from my laying position. I was covered in sweat and every single muscle in my body was throbbing. I haven't felt pain like this in a long, long time. What the hell happened!?
I was met with Crystal blue eyes, full of tears. Andy.
He had dark purple circles under his eyes and his appearance was terribly dishevelled. At that moment I realized we were in our room. The last thing I could remember was having a long, rough night of s*ex with him after....Kai....after Andy had let Kai f*uck me.
"Oh my god baby! I thought you were never going to wake up again." He threw his arms around me and began to sob. He caught me off guard, due to the feeling that my brain was still waking up and the burning sensation that was still running through my veins made me want to freak out a bit.
Panic.
I groaned, squeezing my eyes tightly together. "What...what happened after..." My voice faded as I felt his lips tickle my ear.
"I claimed you. This was a possibility..."
I remembered hearing him talking about fulling claiming me while we were f*ucking now. I didn't realize I would feel this way afterwards...I remembered the pain....him biting me everywhere.
"What was a possibility?" I rasped out.
"That you might sleep for awhile. When you transfer dna, the other body can reject it. I thought you had. But you woke up..." He whispered into my ear, his fingers gently stroking the back of my neck. My whole body shuddered.
"H-how long did I-?"
"Seven days..." He had to clear his throat after speaking. I pulled back from him to look into his eyes.
"SEVEN DAYS!?!?"
Andy pulled his bottom lip into his mouth and began to chew on it. It made my heart skip. "I'm sorry baby it was time and I had to do it. You now smell like me. It was important for me to do it. For your safety, for our family's safety."
I just stared up at him, his eyes smoldering, he was waiting for me to say something. He was desperate for me to respond.
"Get out of my head beautiful..." His eyebrow raised and he smirked. I couldn't help but smirk back.
"I can't help it. I feel like I can hear what you're thinking even better now. Like you're just constantly speaking out loud. It's...it's pretty intense to be honest."
"It's because I marked you. We are literally one as cliche as it sounds. You really belong to me now." Andy's smile turned devilish and my gut began to twist into knots. Right before he leaned in to try and kiss me, I placed a hand on his chest.
"Ok Mr. I belong to you now- let's pause here for a minute. When was the last time you ate? I feel like I'm f*ucking starving."
"I couldn't leave your side. I wouldn't even let Alaric or Ace inside the house to help me."
I growled at him, punching him in the shoulder, leaving a trail of pain shooting up my arm. F*UCK! "Mmmm oh GOD! It hurts. And you're a moron."
"You are going to be achy for quite awhile. I'm so sorry baby and I couldn't leave you. I felt way to protective. I'm pretty sure I was going through some kind of transformation as well. Alaric said it would be normal for me to snap at anyone who tried to get close to you.. I'm still understanding how serious this whole thing is. We have a lot to learn."
