-Faith's Pov-
I could feel the heavy bright light weighing onto my eyelids making me squint. "Guys, she is waking up." I heard someone say, making my ears ring at the sounds.
I raised my hand up to my face and rubbed my eyes. I flutter my eyes open to see Amy, Bella, and Sierra at my bedside.
"Where is Josh?" I asked, searching around the room in my tired voice, slurring my words.
All the girls look at each other, debating whether or not she would tell me. "He is..." Sierra started but trailed off.
"Recovering." Amy finished.
My hand slammed onto the bed and my thoughts rushed. "Is he okay?" The questions in my head kept coming and I was getting too worried.
They all nodded. "He is fine Faith." Bella stammered, and eased me down into my bed. "Nothing major. He got stabbed in the stomach and lucky he didn't use a big knife. It could have hit an artery. He should be fine in a week to a month."
"I need to go see him." I said, kicking my legs out from the bed.
Sierra rushed over to my side. "You have a concussion Faith."
I shook my head, but it ached in pain, but I pushed past it. "I'm fine. I need to see Josh." I urged.
"At least let me get a nurse to take you in a chair." Amy offered.
I yawned, feeling the fatigue hit me, causing me to rub the back of my head. "How hard did I hit the ground?"
"You almost cracked your skull." Bella said, shifting over to the side of my bed. "Yet you saved Josh's life." She said, pushing some of my blonde hair out of my face.
I looked around and saw my dress sitting on the counter. "I am sorry your prom got ruined." I whispered, looking down.
"Well, seems like some of us had it worse." She said, hugging me. "I am just glad your alive."
"Where are the guys?" I asked, noticing they were nowhere in the room.
"In Josh's room." She muttered. "Yet they have visited you a couple of times. You have just been out."
I sighed. "At least they haven't completely ignored me. But I understand. They have been friends with him longer."
I saw Amy and a nurse walk in with a wheelchair. "Great. I am now a cripple." I joked.
"But you do have some really cool wheelchair races." Amy said, brightening the mood.
The nurse took off some of the equipment off of me and had Sierra push the small rollable liquid thingy {idk what it is called} beside me.
His room wasn't far from mine, but my head wouldn't make me last long if I had just walked it. Just getting into the chair I was already seeing stars.
I saw all the guys huddled around the bed, but they were laughing, so I knew Josh was awake.
I knocked on the open door and everyone turned to me and I saw Josh sitting on the bed. "Josh." I whispered.
He weakly smiled at me, holding back tears. "Are you okay?" He managed to saw.
I nodded as the nurse pushed me off to the side of his bed. "I am so sorry that you got involved."
"It's fine Faith. As long as you know how much I love you, that's all that matters." He wrapped his arm around me and I returned the favour.
The guys smiled at us. "Nice to see you up Faith." Harry said.
"Thank you." I said politely. "How is Beth? I know you two are very close." I mentioned, smirking slightly.
He blushed gently. "She is doing fine. She is actually going to meet my family in Gurnsey after the graduation."
"Does that mean.." I trailed of to let him finish.
He nodded. "Yes Faith." He started. "We are dating."
JJ punched him in the arm slightly. "GET IT." He shouted.
We all laughed and I layed my head down onto Josh's mattress, not feeling the best. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked.
"It's a side effect." I mumbled, feeling a rush of nausea rush past me, but I held back.
He seemed somewhat hurt while I was suffering with my concussion, and I tilted my head at him. "You got stabbed in the stomach. I am pretty sure you are in a worse state than me." I laughed.
"But I am a man. I take no pain." He said in a deep voice. "But I will always be concerned for you."
I saw Amy and Bella shuffle over to their guy and smile at us. "Did you to have a good evening until you found out about us?" I asked them.
They nodded. "Yep. They took us to Ledbury." Amy grinned.
"Isn't that the best place in all of London?" I asked shocked.
Vikk nodded. "Was worth the money to have the girls come with and enjoy it."
Simon looked at us, and looked at the group. "Why don't we give you two some space. You had a rough night and we don't want to intrude on what was meant to be a special night."
"You don't have to do that." Josh insisted.
They all walked out anyway and it was just Josh and me. "So..." I started.
"I was going to dance with you at Prom." He said, saddened.
I gently smiled. "We would stand under the white Christmas lights on the gymnasium ceiling, swaying to a slow song, just staring into each others eyes."
"I will have this happen." Josh smiled. "With or without the prom."
"Do I hear a date idea coming along?" I giggled.
He nodded. "At least we don't have to be scared of your dad. He is finally going to jail for doing that stuff to us."
I cheered slightly. "That douche deserved it. He was a stupid prick."
"So, how's the pretty head of yours holding up?" Josh said, petting my head like a dog.
I giggled slightly. "Considering I am not holding my head up and laying it on the bed, that is self explanatory."
He kissed it slightly. "Better?"
"Always."
