Where Is Love?

I once thought love
Was only an illusion.
But I have learned
That love
Can be found in the most simplest things.
I find it in my backyard,
Where a baby deer slowly walks behind its mother
As the sun rises
And in the forest I find it
In the flowers
That rock back and forth
With the wind.
I find love
In my sisters smile,
My brothers laughter,
In the cracks of the sidewalk
Where flowers peep through
To find sunlight.
Many people forget
That love can be found all around you;
You just have to look
Close enough.
