Investigation

Lexi's POV

When I was looking at the view, I thought back to a history lesson. I can't remember what it's called but, people tracked up the mountains so they could see their enemy's approaching. It this the tactic Troy used? He put his trailer motor-home up a mountain so he could see his enemies looking for him.

About fifteen minutes later Gibbs walked back out and told me to come with him. I followed him to where Ducky was, he just finished loading the body.

"Ah my dear, will you come back with me?" Ducky asked me

"Yeah" I responded

We got in the truck, I guess Jimmy stayed back.

When we got back to base Ducky pulled me up a chair in autopsy. He looked at my bruises, he put some ice in a bag for my head. Other than that I was okay.

"Okay sweetheart, Vance is going to have to start an investigation, this might have to open up some sores." He began to explain

I just nodded

"I don't care, I will let them investigate what ever they need to." I said

He gave me a fake smile, then I got what he was trying to say.... Gibbs is worried about my old habit.

"I'll be fine Ducky, I'll call someone if I feel like that." I assured him

"okay" he finished and smiled again

Then he turned around and I knew he was going to start on the body because at that moment Jimmy walked back in. I decided to go up with my team. I walked up to the elevator but I'm guessing Gibbs is in one of his meetings in there because it was stopped between floors. I took the stairs, when I reached my desk I knew something was up.

Some dude was waiting by my desk, I looked over at McGee, Tony and Ziva. The were all watching the interactions between me and this guy.

"Hello Miss. Heart, you need to come with me" he stated

He grabbed my arm before I had a chance to back up, I freaked, I was just kidnaped and held hostage. I shoved my arm in his gut, I ran back to my desk and grabbed my gun.

"Woah!" He yelled and pulled out his gun.

Tony walked up by me and took my gun.

"This is an FBI agent, Lexi. They need to talk to you" Tony calmly explained. "But Mr. Mondaze was told to wait for Fornell." He glared over at the guy

He then walked over to Mondaze.

"She was just kidnaped and held hostage, I wouldn't do that again if I were you" Tony growled near his face.

Just then Gibbs walked back in with Fornell.

"There she is, she looks great Gibbs!" Fornell joked with him

"She sure wins lots of people over" Gibbs laughed back

I was just starring at Fornell and Gibbs. So was my whole team, this was unnatural.

"Come on lex, lets go take a walk" Fornell told me. "Mr. Mondaze go back to base."

Mondaze stared at his boss, and made some hand movements like him stabbing himself with a knife in the neck and pointed at me. Tobias just gave him a death stare and Mondaze nodded a yes.

Tobias took me out to the middle of a park near base.

"Lex, the FBI and NCIS are going to have to look into what happened"

I just shrugged, I didn't really feel like talking, I was out of it I was literally kidnaped about 7 hours ago.

"Were gonna have to act like you are a suspect." He continues

I shrugged again

"Okay" I whispered

I think he got I have had a long day, he nodded to himself

"Here I'll take you home, get some rest, we'll start tomorrow" he finished up then we walked back and got in his car.

He dropped me off at my old apartment, I grabbed my blanket and fell asleep on the couch like always.
