*one week later*

Lexis POV

I was finally cleared and let back on the team just yesterday! Gosh the FBI takes forever! Agent Shepard is taking her testing and gun shooting tests for the next week and having the information process she is going to be part time agent, part time assistant director. I've noticed that Vance has been bobbling a idea in his head all day yesterday and today. It's like he wants to say something to Gibbs but it's like he glued his tough to his teeth, he can't spit it out.

I finished my paperwork and decided to sneak up to Vance's office and talk.

"Come this way bishop" I heard his voice when I hit the top of the stares.

"Ah, perfect!" He then piped up to my presents

"Alex "Lexi" Heart, meet Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop, your new part time agent" the director introduced me

This woman is a young I'd say 25, blond, shorter, thin but not starving thin.

I smiled and shook her hand,

"Are you like one of their kids or niece?" She asks

Her voice is very pleasant and sweet,

"No, she your partner." Vance replied

She got a confused look on her face, like everyone does when they find out I'm a navy cop.

I mouthed the words ' long story, explain later' she nodded a okay and a reply

"Lexi, take her down to the gun storage, and get her all set up." Vance bossed me and then walked back into his office.

So this is what was on Vance mind, hm, how is Gibbs talking this?

"So, where do we go?" She asked in a really sweet voice.

"Come on, I'll take you" I smiled and had her follow me

I got her a gun and logged her name into it. Got the rest if her gear she will need for field work. She asked me if I could explain my reason for being here. I told her everything that the team knows.

"I'm... I'm so sorry." She frowns and hugs me.

"Hey, it's life. Come on time to go meet the team" I changed subjects and put on a smile.
"First stop, Abby's lab!" I laughed

I brought her in with me, I giggled at Bishops face reacting to being accepted so quickly and dragged through the building by a teen.

"Abby!" I spoke up over her music

"Lexi!!!" Abby ran over and hugged me.

We hugged and then she used a remote to turn off her music.

"Who's this" Abby asked about Ellie.

"She is going to be the other part time agent on Gibbs team, like Mrs. Shepard" I explained

They talked for a few and got to know each other.

"Hey Lexi come down later! I wanna talk" Abby told me before we left

Then me and Ellie met up with Jimmy and Ducky.

"Wow you guys are all so nice here!" She noticed

"Wait till you meet the team" I joked
She laughed

I took her up to Tony, Tim, and Ziva, Gibbs was out.

"Guys this is Ellie bishop," I explained her job and introduced them

The director ordered a extra desk for Jenny and Ellie sat in the desk next to McGee. We began to get bored no cases,no paperwork, no nothing. Boredom isn't good for DiNozzo.. Its bad..

Balls of paper began to be thrown across the room into the trash bens.

"Throw one more paper ball and you will be losing more than just your paper balls!" A annoyed Ziva threatened Tony.

Ellie walked across the isle to my desk,

"What is going on here? Do they always argue and bicker? And is Tony always annoying!?" Ellie listed off

"I don't really know, yes and yes he is." I smiled up at her.

"A lot more fun than my last work place" she laughed

She brought her chair over and we talked for awhile and the rest of the team really accepted her quickly. I was happy they enjoyed Ellie. She's really nice and I just hope Gibbs will accept her!
