Thanksgiving Day

*one week later*

Lexis POV

Today was thanksgiving, we got out from school for break two days ago. I was getting ready for work and the party at the end of the work day.

We found the three men behind Kate's parents murder. They called back in two days after, McGee traced the call and we found them. The main guy, he told Gibbs who was interrogating him he killed them to get me and Kate together. That bastard! I was ready for work and I got Kate ready.

"Sis! We didn't eat!" She wined

Like I said I forget to take care of myself. Kate has helped get me back on track of That.
I got some cereal for us and we are up fast. We then walked to NCIS and met up with the team.

We mostly was going to be doing paperwork.

"Hello Jethro," we all heard

I saw Ms. Shepard standing at the bullpen entrance Gibbs and I knew she was alive and coming. I don't think the others did. Ellie didn't know who she was but Tony, Ziva, and McGee looked like they were looking at ghost.

"Jenny?" Tony coughed

"M-madam director?" McGee asked

She smiled.

"Yes it is me" she began.

She explained everything that I and Gibbs knew

"Who's she?" Kate popped her head up

"This is mommy Jenny" I told her

She smiled and ran up to her.

"Hiii" she smiled

She looked at me like 'who's this'

"Ms. Shepard, this is Kate Heart, my sister" I introduced her

"Oh she's adorable and just call me Jenny" she told me

I nodded a yes. And then Gibbs and Jenny went off to talk by them selfs.

"Did you know" McGee asked me

"Yes I did McGee," I told him

I looked down at Kate and I realized we needed to go shopping for her soon. We would have to get some right after work. At least some thing cute for tonight.

The day went by really quickly, Ducky confirmed that we are all coming, I just needed to make sure the big engagement was all ready! Jimmy and Bre's wedding is going to be this winter.

I had go collect Kate from Abby's lab, I was heading into elevator and DiNozzo was already in there.

"Taking a cat nap?" I joked

"No, I'm....just thinking" he trailed off

I shut off the elevator and everything went dark.

"Your just like Gibbs" he laughed

"You are still proposing, Right?!" I looked into his eyes

He took a minute

"I am, I'm just, scared" he admitted

I put my arms on his shoulders, and sighed

"She will say yes, she loves you..a lot" I told him

He smiled and patted my head

"Thanks dork" he joked

He switched the power back on, and I got off at Abby's lab.

"Lexi!" Abby squealed

She ran up to me and hugged me.

"Hi Abby" I said "I'm here to collect the little duck"

"Quack!" I heard from behind me

I turned around and scooped up Kate.

"Your going to be at Ducky's tonight right Lexi?" Abby asked

"Yes, I just need to go to the store to get us something nice to wear" I told her and I poked Kate's nose.

Kate began to giggle and swatted away my hand.

"Ooh! I can take you!" Abby offered

"Aww thanks Abby" I thank her

We get our stuff and then we leave for the mall, we were going to get a nice dress for Kate. When we got there, Kate was amazed. I could help but laugh at her amazement. I turned to Abby

"You did not have to do this" I told her

"I wanted to, and I am getting you both something adorable" she smiles

"You are not paying!" I demand

"Yes I am." She states "now let's go"

She grabs my hand and drags both of us into a dress store.

I helped Kate pick out a dress first. We looked around in her size and I found a cute and cheaper dress for her. It is red and has blue sequences, Kate loved it so we tried it on and it fit her really good.

Then Abby pulled me over to my size and helped me find a nice dress. My dress is a purple silky dress, it has a little sleeve and goes almost to my knees.

"Abby you don't have to pay for this!" I tried again

"I already did" she smiled

"Well thank you" I finished off

Abby dropped us at the apartment so I could finish getting ready.

*later that night*

I got us all ready and Gibbs picked us up.
He looked at me, I think he was amazed what a few hours could do, or that I actually looked, um.. Like a girl.

"You two look amazing" he kissed my cheek and leaned down and kissed Kate's

We drove to Ducky's and I just couldn't get my mind over what is gonna happen! It was screaming. Gibbs walked in and I stayed back telling Kate not to run off in his house.

"Okay" she agreed

We walked in and then everyone looked right at me. I guess it's because I never look this girlish ever!

We all sat around and talked for awhile, and then Tony stood up.

"EHHHKKK!!!!!!" my heart screamed

"I would like to say something," he began

Ahhhh! Okay calm down Lexi

"This year, it has been full of changes, we met amazing people, we have had hard times, and we have gotten back a few loved ones. And I know we have all adapted to this change. And this year has Been really crazy, we have fallen in love." He continued and looked Ziva

"I'm so glad to have you all as my family, but I want to be more with you Ziva. I love you, I know you know this. And I'm so so thankful that you love me, you make me feel whole."
He got a box out and got down on one knee "Will you marry me Ziva David." He asked

I was smiling from ear to ear.

"Yes" Ziva replied and cried a few tears

"And now, I have one more announcement." Tony began again "we are 3 months pregnant!"
Tony and Ziva kissed.

"Ehhhh" I breathed out

I was dying. So many feelings!

"Congratulations DiNozzo, but if you ever hurt her, I will snipe you myself!" Gibbs was fatherly threatening him

*little later*

We were all eating around the table and enjoying time with family. Ducky then stood up.

"Here's to family, and the people who matter." He toasts
