But why was he supposed to tell the stranger he just met?
Though, Namjoon was comfortable with him. It felt like he met him before or something, but he couldn't remember where. He had a good aura. But what if he was a lawyer? Maybe he would separate him and his wife if he said no. His cousins and grandparents would kill him.
Namjoon took a deep breath, his answer was decided.
"Yes, I am happy." Namjoon tried to smile. But there he saw it. He got it confirmed that Namjoon was unhappy. But he had to let go of him, for now.
Namjoon took care of his wife, but she wasn't getting better but not worse either. It was just going round and round, in the same pattern.
The stranger Namjoon meet on the rooftop started to follow him. He wanted to care of him. He didn't know what but he was special. Though Namjoon wasn't his patient, he still wanted to free him from his sorrow.
---
Namjoon sat at a café. He wanted to take a break from everything but didn't know how. He couldn't just leave his wife. Not in her condition.
"Excuse me. Is it okay if I sit here?" A man with sunglasses asked Namjoon. He had brown hair and looked like a prince to Namjoon.
"Yes, go ahead." He answered.
Little did Namjoon know that it was the same man he met up on the rooftop. They started to talk, from casual everyday talk to deep talk. Namjoon began to open, he was readable like a book.
"You know. We have met before haven't we?" The stranger took of his sunglasses. "Hello again."
"Wow, what a coincidence." Of course it wasn't for him.
"Well I never got to know your name up on the rooftop. What's your name?"
"Lee Namjoon."
"Nice to meet you Namjoon. I'm Kim Seokjin but you can call me Jin for short."
"Well, I got to go. I'm kind of in a rush. My wife needs me. But maybe we can meet again sometime?" Namjoon started to pack his things.
"Next week? 3:00 pm?"
"Here?"
"Why not?"
"Okey, I see you then."
Namjoon left Jin at their table. Who now more wasn't a stranger. Jin was so happy he got to know the name. He started to take notes of what he got to know. Almost like a diary, what they did and what he'd laugh at. It was hard to make Namjoon laugh, but he did it.
They met more often. They were getting pretty close. But the more Namjoon met Jin, his wife only got worse.
Her skin was like ice and her voice only got weaker."Jin... My wife is not well. I don't know what to do to make her feel better... I even took a break from work."
"Does she have a flu?"
"I think so. Jin, I really like to see you. But I think we also need to take a break. I don't know for how long but I need to make sure that she will be okay."
"But we can chat over the phone right?"
"Sure, but don't expect that I will answer right away."
Namjoon left the cafe, Jin still sitting on the same spot.
When he left, he totally left. They stopped meeting each other and as Namjoon said, he didn't answer his phone. He'd probably answer Jin's text the day after. He felt a little guilty, like he was bad influence. But why?
