Chapter 9: Stay away from him

A/N: Next Friday is my last day of school thankfully. I actually want to write a story with someone like co-write it together idk. Anyways I wasted my weekend with doing nothing, enjoy this chapter bros.

Taylor woke up from his sleep as Shawn was drooling a little bit in the chair. It wasn't gross, he was cute like a kitten. Taylor seen their was hands were still intertwined which made him very happy. He didn't wanna be bored so he wanted woke up Shawn. He had to let go of his hand to order to shake him.

"Shawn wake up" The older boy gently shook him. Shawn made hmm sound but was still asleep. The 16-year old boy shook him again and he still didn't budge. "SHAWN" He yelled which the younger boy quickly shot his head up. Taylor smiled at his messy hair, "good morning". Shawn gave him annoyed look since he woke him up just to say good morning.

"Why did you held my hand?" He questioned. The 15 year-old shrugged not giving him an answer. "Well that was sweet of you, come snuggle with me" Taylor spoke softly since he's voice wasn't really there because of the Nasal cannula. Shawn was gave him hesitant look. "Come on, we're just friends nothing werid" he patted the bed.

Shawn was still unsure but got up and stretched. Taylor scoot over so Shawn can lay down with him. The younger boy took off his shoes off his feet and laid in front of the older boy. Shawn laid sideways as Taylor wrapped his arms around him. "I really appreciate you seeing me, I thought you didn't really like me and I was surprised to see you" Taylor was being honest.

"And knowing that your going to be there for me gives me hope" Shawn smiled at the little speech. Even though Taylor was annoying, He was growing on him. Taylor didn't what else to say but gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. "That was a thanks" Taylor made accuse. Shawn didn't care since enormous butterflies filled his stomach. The older boy intertwined their hands together. It was comfortable quiet for the rest the time, just enjoying each other company.

Until they heard foot-steps, Shawn immediately freak out and let go of Taylor's hand. "Go hide" Shawn hop out of the hospital bed. Shawn was looking around not sure where to go. "Hurry now" Taylor was shooing him. The younger boy looked at bed and went under it. He groaned at the coldness of the floor and tried to be quiet as he can. The door opened and it was Taylor's mother.

She was happy that her son was up and gave him a hug as soon as she walked in. "My baby" She hugged him. "Hi mom" The older boy said brightly. She let go of him and sat besides him in the bed. "How are you feeling?" She felt his head. "I feel better but I feel a little sick still" his voice broke. "That's alright, you'll be okay" Taylor gave her a small smile. "Where's the family?" He asked her in a whispered.

"They'll are in the waiting room, we're about to head to church in a bit" She answered. She paused, "I need to talk to you about something". "Yes?", "I need you stay away from him" She was serious. Shawn knew what she was about to say and he knew he wasn't going to like it. "Stay away from who?" Taylor had no idea what she was talking about. "Your friend from soccer game, I need you stay away from him, he's dangerous for you" Taylor couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Why? He's done nothing wrong" Taylor was confused. "Honey, he hurt you" Shawn was boiling with heat. "No he didn't-" He was interrupted by his mother. "Kelly told me he did" Both boys were getting angry. "It wasn't him-" He was interrupted again. "Enough Taylor, I forbid you to see him, I'll come later I love you" She got up from the bed and kissed him on the forehead and left.

Taylor was devastated and angry for the first time because Shawn did nothing. It was all Connor who hurt him. He couldn't believed his sister Kelly would lie that Shawn hurt him and basically caused this situation. Shawn came out from under the bed and was pretty mad. He hated how he got blame for something that he didn't do like people just assume stuff about him and usually aren't positive.

"Whatever my mother or my sister says, your just too important to me, We may have figure something out because I can't and I know I can't stay away from you".
