Chapter 15: The happy boy became Broken

A/N: I only have a few more chapters then I start season 2 of Quiet. I only want to write multiple books since I don't like writing a lot chapters in one book, I kinda like to re-start my work into another book. its 6:23 in the morning and why am I still awake? idk i'm losing so much sleep but it I only got 3 weeks till school starts and I wanna enjoy while I can.

''Leave my son alone you gay little fag!'' Taylor suddenly woke up from the loud voice. He seen his mother yelling at the younger boy while Shawn was slipping on his shoes. ''Mom what's happening!?'' Both Shawn and his mom looked at him. Ms.Caniff rushed towards her son, ''Did this monster hurt you baby?''. ''No mom he just slept here with me since he didn't wanna sleep alone'' The older boy told the truth. ''I think he may have drugged you honey'' She was over reacting He thought. '

'Kelly take Taylor's friend at the house now'' Kelly looked nervous but followed her mom's directions. Taylor got up from his bed confused, he wasn't sure why his mom was acting like this. ''Why did you made him leave? he wasn't doing anything wrong'' He was oblivious at the moment. ''He was cuddling you this morning'' His mom sounded angry. Taylor gave her raise eyebrow ,''So what mom?". "He is making you gay Taylor and I just need you to be straight''.

''He is my friend, i like him" The shorter boy confessed. "What did you say boy?" Taylor was going to regret his words in a few moments. "I like him Mom" That's the moment when Taylor's mom punched him in eye and then strike again in the lips. After that he recieved a kick in the stomach which made him fall to the ground. He remebered getting kicked repeatdly and trying to bock the kicks so many times until he heard Kelly's voice.

"Get off of him" The blonde girl yelled as shoved their mother back. She went towards Taylor who was laying on the floor, hurt badly. Jordan was holding Tristen at the doorway with worried faces. "Jordan go back in the room with the baby you two don't need to see this" Kelly ordered Jordan to go and Jordan glanced at their mother with a disgusted face before leaving. "What the hell is with all this noise?" Their father came in the situation. "DAD PLEASE GET BRENDA (fake name) OUT OF HERE" Kelly didn't call her mom anymore from now after she beat Taylor.

Their father was confused at first but seen his son on the ground and his wife hands bruise. He knew what happened. He grabbed his wife and led her out the room. "Taylor what did she do to you?" She glanced at her little brother's face. His face was a wrack. "She beat me because i wasn't allowed to love another person" He spoke weakly. Kelly just looked at him with sad eyes as She held her broken brother in her arms.

A few hours has past and Shawn was hanging out with Matt. Their were in his car driving back from school and He was dropping off the younger boy. The two friends stop at red-light and it was quiet and slient. Shawn was feeling guilty about earlier, "I can't stop thinking about him Matt". This statement took Maty by surpise because he haven't heard him talk in years, "What?". "Taylor" The younger quietly repiled. "What about him?" Matt wasn't clueless about their relationship. "I ruined a relationship between him and his mom".

Matt started driving again, "why do you think that?". "Because this morning she caught me and him in bed together and she started shouting at me calling me a fag then yeah" He confessed. "What did she call you? She may have sleep with one eye open tonight" him and Matt laughed. "But why you guys in the bed together anyway? Wait, did you lose you virginity to him?" Shawn shook his head no, i wished he thought. "No i was sleeping with him because it was late and i really didn't wanna walk home alone".

"Oh, you didn't tell me why you think you ruined their relationship" he made a turned at Shawn's street. "I really don't know i just want him to be happy even if it's not with me, ever since i met him all i do was being trouble in his life" The taller boy frowned. "No you haven't i'm sure he is happy that your in his life and if he loved, he'll stick with you" Matt said while pulling him up in front of his house. Shawn nodded and opened the door. "Just remeber, he loves you and won't be angry at you, i see the way he looks at you like you put the stars in the sky" Matt gave Shawn advice before exsiting the car.

Taylor had ice pack on his stomach and had the poducts hot and cold on his stomach and thighs. It was night time and Kelly stayed home with him the whole day. "I brought you some soup" Kelly entered his room while he was watching TV, depressingly. She sat besides him and mox the chicken soup for him. She dip the spoon the soup while feeding it to him. They did for awhile before the soup was gone. "How are you feeling?" Kelly asked him before she left him alone for the night.

"Like shit" he responded. "Same" she tried to make him feel better but it was funny to him. "I'm going to tuck the baby in and Jordan, Mom is staying at a hotel for a couple of weeks, Dad is going to stay with her so she doesn't do anything crazy, Grandma will be coming this weekend to watch us" Kelly assured him. He nodded as she closed his bedroom door so he can have alone time. He continued watching TV but it wasn't really helping him. In the beginning, he was happy boy. Now will forever be the happy who became broken.

This may be my favorite chapter of the book because it reflects hoe Taylor's character changed in 15 chapters.

Do you think Shawn is bringing all these negative things to his life? Or it just the universe? And why?

How did Taylor character changed? And how?

Taylor's mom? Kelly helping him? Shawn and Matt friendship?

My ipad is literally broken i cri. Also have you started school yet?
