Three words changed it all

The guy

Zach's pov:

We were all looking for the second clue when Arielle shouted out," guys come here I found something!" We all rushed over to see what it was. It was the second clue. We all read it and we all agreed we didn't want to talk to some guy in a random apartment. We decided we would wait until after our game to talk to the guy.

We all ate breakfast, brushed our teeth, and got ready for our game. We won our game 7-5. It was a good game. We were all excited to be moving on. This was the first year I actually thought we could get some what far.

Jace's pov:

We all got up, are breakfast, brushed our teeth, and got ready for the game. We won it 7-5. It was an awesome game. I got a double and a single. I also made a double play at second.

We got to the hotel and started to decide who would talk to the guy. We did rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Arielle lost. She had to talk to the guy. He told us something really creepy.

Arielle's pov:

After our game we decided I would go talk to the guy after I lost a game of rock, paper, scissors, shoot. We all went up to the apartment and knocked on the door. His place looked so old that I thought it was around during the dinosaur times.

I knocked on the door, when it made a creepy crick sound. Almost like the door was going to fall off. A guy answered the door. He looked about as old as they get. He was probably in his late 70s maybe early 80s. He said to us to come in so we did. We were all starting to get nervous. He said to us," are you looking for the third clue?" We said," yes, how did you know that?"  He said," because no one ever comes to visit unless they have found the second clue, which means you are looking for the third clue." We said," ok well can you help us find the third clue?" He said," I am the third clue." We were all freaked out by that statement. He continued," I can give you a hint that will help you through the next two clues if you'd like?" We all said yes and he started to give us the hint. He said," your third clue is me. You must take the information I give you and use it toward finding your next two clues." We said ok and he proceeded to talk. He said," you all must stay together. You can not separate from each other. Help each other out. It will help you get through the clues faster. You will also think better with three minds thinking about the same thing." We all said thank you and went on down the stairs to talk about what that meant. We all said ok well let's start looking, together.
