Three words changed it all

Torture

Jace's pov:

This guy is starting to get on my last nerve. He is yelling at us every two minutes. Every ten steps we take. And the worst part is, it's extremely loud. I feel like I'm going to be deaf after this is all done.

He finally got sick of us and yelled at Zach to get in his hand. It was huge. Gigantic. I was so surprised.

Zach's pov: (this is going to be a long one)

So after the guy finally stopes yelling at me, I am in the middle of his hand. I say," what do you want me to do now?" He says," nothing, just stand there." I found that kinda weird so I asked him again. "What?" He said," You heard me, stand there!" I didn't move, mostly because I was in shock. He started to squeeze me in his hand. I asked him," what are you doing to me. You said you weren't going to hurt me. I am a kid." He said," I know you guys are kids, but I am sick and tired of you guys not listening to me!" I could feel his grip getting tighter as he kept yelling. He continued," I am going to do this until you kids get the idea of staying together." I say," I get the hint. I get the hint."

I don't think he cared because he kept on squeezing me. It became harder and harder to move around. I had wished we never looked at that note, never talked to that guy and just left it alone. But of course we didn't.

He was squeezing me so hard. It was hard to breath. I finally said," help I need help guys." Even though they were already trying to help me I said it anyways. I said to the guy, once I got my breath," please let me go, I promise I will never be away from these two ever again." He said," I will not let you go, ever."

We were starting to get so scared. We didn't know what was going to happen. We didn't know when he was going to let go of me.

Arielle's pov:

This guy is so strong and aggressive, I didn't know what to do.  I tried everything. Jace an I have been trying to move this guys hand for what seems to be forever. He wouldn't budge.

He finally let go after about an hour of having Zach squeezed in his grip. Zach fell to the ground. We helped him back up on his feet and decided to talk to the guy and get us out of here.

After a good amount of talking the guy decided to let us out. He said," your fourth clue was to always help our friends even if they don't seem like your friends. And your fifth clue is, no matter how many times you fall down, always get back up."

After he let us go, we had relied we had spent all day down there. We got ready for bed then saw each other one more time before tomorrow. We talked for a little bit discussing what went down today. We were all happy that we found all five clues. Not the way we wanted to find them but we did it.
