Three words changed it all

Bateries

Arielle's pov:

After we found out we needed to stay closer together, I found a tile. It looked kinda weird. It had green around it, almost as if it was suppose to stand out. I decided to step on it. Jace came over and did the same thing. Then followed Zach. The tile started to lift up into the air. We all screamed as it hurtled toward the ground. Once we all got to the bottom, we fell. We all asked each other if we were ok and everyone was.

Then, to only make matters worse, we found a guy screaming at us to listen to why the guy said. Ugh this guy is so mean.

I am really scared, but I didn't want to tell either of the boys that. I started to shake, unintentionally. They said to stop shaking it will be all right, they will protect me if anything happens.

Jace's pov:

We were down in the bottom of a trap when the guy says to us to get closer. We did as he said and then asked home what next. He said," don't move I have you right where I want you!" We were all scared when he said that. We tried to stay calm as long as we could, but we couldn't help our selfs. He was to scary.

Zach didn't seem afraid though. It was almost as if he were in this position before. But the thought cleared my mind, because I knew he hadn't been. I tried to mock him by staying clam.

Zach's pov:

We were all in the dark and scary room when he tells us to get closer. We find each other then hug tightly. I had chills that went down my back and across my arms when Arielle hugged me. I shook off the feeling then asked him," what do you want with us. We are only kids. Please don't hurt us!" He yelled back," I realize you guys are only kids. I have no intentions in hurting you." We were in shock. I said," what do you want with us then?" With a snobby attitude.

I saw jace looked at me and I said I got this. Then I noticed that Arielle was shaking. How come jace hadn't said anything to her. He was her best friend. I ignored it and said something to her. I said," Arielle your going to be safe. I will protect you if anything happens. I promise."

The mysterious guy said," On the ground below you is three flashlights. Your problem is only one work. I have left the batteries throughout this little cave. Your job is to stay together and look for all four batteries. They could be anywhere around in the trap. Good luck." And with that we went off looking for the batteries. Together.

NOTE: sorry that jaces pov and Arielles pov have been kinda short lately. I will try to make them longer next chapter. Thx guys comment how you like the book! Also comment how many chapters I should put until the end! Stay awesome!!
