Season 2: chapter 8 - ignorance

'Kurapika, If I tell kurapika?... How would he feel?... Probably scared at the same time disgusted.' Feitan was thinking if he should tell kurapika or not. He was at the kitchen washing dishes. It was his duty day today. As all of you have known, the Spiders all live in Kuroro's mansion. Kuroro does nit have a maid as the mansion is hidden. So they decided one of the spiders should go on a duty twice a week.

"Feitan-san?" Feitan heard a voice calling out. Only one person in the world calls him with a 'san'. 'It's kurapika' he thought. He ignored her and continued with the dishes. But then, kurapika stood beside feiatn and help him washed the dishes.

"Stop, go away." Feitan said sternly. Kurapika was shocked and confused. All he wanted to do was help, what's so wrong about that? Kurapika decided that he'll ignore Feitan's cold words and continue helping him with the dishes. "Excuse me," said feitan, noticing that kurapika still continues washing. He went to the toilet and washed his face. He sighed and stared at himself through the mirror. After what seemed like forever, he finally decided to leave and continue with the dishes. However, when he went to the kitchen, the dishes were done! And everything seemed to be spotless in the kitchen. 'This must be kurapika's doing. I might as well move on.' He thought. He took out a folded piece of paper that has the list of his duty location. With details like  which rooms he should be cleaning and what he should be cleaning. He looked at the next one on the list.

Kitchen: dishes✔️
Living room: dusting⬜️
Music room: polish instruments⬜️
Other Office: deliver files to main office⬜️

He exited the kitchen and walked through a hallway that leads to the living room. He heard someone with heels walking in the direction he is going. 'There's only one person who has the possibility of where such shoes. Kurapika..' He thought. He decided to turn around and head to the next room which is the music room. But then suddenly, kurapika called him "feitan-san?" Feitan ignored and turned around, and ran when he heard kurapika walking towards him. "Hey! Wait up!" Kurapika wanted to chase him but couldn't. He was wearing heels... "I just wanted to say hi..."

'That was close. If I hadn't run then he could have caught up and.... What could he have done? Talk to me? Man, why do I panick over such things?! Maybe, I'm just scared. Scared of him not forgiving me. No, I'm scared of myself not forgiving.... Myself.... After what I did, Ofcourse it's unforgivable and unforgettable.' Even though kurapika has already moved no from the beating he got from feitan. Feitan himself has not. He was in the shadows of regret. He would always remind himself of the pain, both physically and mentally, he brought upon kurapika on that day. He made his life hard and sorrowful. He would never accept kindness, not when he thinks he doesn't deserve it.

2 hours later......
Feitan left the other office, carrying a tall stack of files. While closing the door of the office, he was accidentally hit and pushed. He dropped the files and it made a loud thudding sound. Feitan sighed and bend down to get the fallen files. When someone else bend down and helped him. "Here let me help you." Kurapika greeted with a smile. Feitan making himself and unknown to him, making kurapika suffer as well, threw the files at kurapika. "If you badly want to do my work, then here it is." He said as he stood up and started walking away. Kurapika sighed and was the one to transfer the files into the main office.

When kurapika reached the main office, kuroro was shocked to see his beloved kurapika doing the work that was supposed to be feitan. "Kurapika, why are you doing all the work? Where's feitan?" He asked.

"Oh- umm.... I insisted in helping."

"Helping? I don't call that helping. And also, you are a female now. You are fragile and must be treated with care."
