Season 2: Chapter 4 - feitan

After 2 weeks, kurapika had finally learned to walk once again. He had been taking a walk around lately to speak to the other members.

"Franklin-san?" called kurapika. "Hey, do you need anything?" Asked franklin. "Yeah, I have a few questions. What's with... That short guy in blue?" He asked. "You mean feitan? Don't mind him. Why are you asking?... Just tell me if he takes advantage of your amnesia. Okay?" Replied franklin. "He's been very mean lately." Said kurapika shyly. "Don't worry I'll try talking to him." Said franklin. "Okay," kurapika gave an innocent smile. He stood up and walked but was stooped by franklin's question. "Where would you be going now?"

"I would like see machi-san if possible."

"Right now she's probably in her room."

"Room?"

"Yeah, just turn there and then left. Afterwards, you'll see a hallway with doors. And that's it. There are names on the doors so that you know which is which."

"Ohhh, thank you."

"Oh ya, before I forget. Could you dropped by my room later."

"Yeah sure."

Kurapika followed franklin's instructions and he was right!He found a hallway that had a large number of doors. The doors had names on it just like what franklin said. He walked slowly across, reading the names on it.  He saw 'Phinx' , 'benevolent' and then 'Feitan'. Kurapika felt a chill up his spine.

Kurapika stopped when he saw the door that says 'Machi'. He knocked gently, giving a deep sound meaning it isn't hollow and was pure wood.

The door click open revealing a familiar pinked haired girl. She opened the door slightly and peeped out, opening it fully when she saw a certain familiar blonde smiling. "Come in," she said as she returns the smile. Kurapika entered happily like a kid with a big smile on his face. Machi was about to close the door when he saw a certain guy leaning against the wall at the end of the hallway, that changed Machi's lovely smile, upside down. She continued closed the door, stopping for a second, leaving an inch for her right eyes to give feitan a glare and finally closing it shut.

"What is with everyone nowadays? Smiling here and there. It disgust me." With that, he left... but stopped when he caught a nasty idea.

"So kurapika, what brought you here?" Asked machi. "Nothing really." Said kurapika shyly again. "Come on, just tell me," she gave a smile and sat beside him. "C-can I ask you about. T-That guy that slapped me a week ago?" He stuttered.

"You mean the boss?"

"Boss? Do I have to call him that?"

"Well, you don't have to. You're different from us."

"Different? How?"

"Let's just say, he treated you differently from the rest of us."

"Ohhh. But... Why?"

"I think it's best if the answer came from him,"

"Okay:) oh ya, what about that feitan guy."

"Don't mind him,"

"I was expecting a different answer though. I had asked franklin about him too and he gave the exact same answer." Kurapika gave a smile.

"I see," machi said giving a serious tone. "To be honest, I too am not sure why he's been acting like that recently. However, what I do know is that the only person that can answer that question is you. Surely, feitan himself why he is acting like that. But There is no spilling the juice out of him."
