Nia's POV:
After I was done crying, I left the Zieglers house. I left quietly so no one could hear me. I ran to my house and told my mom everything. She cried knowing that Maddie was dead. Then she told me Brooke called the house asking for me.
“Brooke Hyland called me?” I asked.
“Yes. She said when you got the message to call her ASAP.”
“Oh ummm...ok.” I went to my room and dialed Brooke's number, thinking she was gonna ask me to do her homework, but instead I got a very different reply....
