Sonic Adventure Dream part 1

So this happened when I was very little. I was back then not too much of a fan of Sonic so naturally I didn't dream of him and/or his friends... Until that faithful day when I had dreamed of him being in real life. It was very weird. I experienced heck with the characters. They weren't the only characters in the house though. Deep down in the other room behind the closet, there was a bar. Sonic kind of introduced some of the characters to me and made me talk to them. I knew Tails but not Knuckles or Amy too much. The dream pretty much got me into being interested in Sonic.

The dream took place in my hometown which was Chicago and it was pretty funny looking back at it now. I did things in the dream I never knew I could do in my dream. The most memorable has to be the dream that was actually the game Sonic Adventure. I thought it was rather cool at the time. The world was accepting of the fictional characters and the game characters were helping each other constantly by going through portals. The cartoon characters and game characters were semi coexisting with us meaning that they can come and go to their world and come here in the real world sometimes. I'm trailing off topic though.

What was going on is that Sonic had to retrieve powerful gems called chaos emeralds before they went into the clutches of Dr. Eggman. Sonic failed time after time again but didn't give up. My late dad had said to Sonic's friends that Chaos and Tikal would go into the heavens. They didn't believe him though and didn't know much about Tikal and neither did dad. He just liked their company. Jak and Daxter, from the Jak and Daxter series, was trying to help Sonic retrieve the emerald but luck wasn't on their side at the time. It was taken by someone else. They tried to chase after the thief but he was too fast and Jak and Daxter lost him.

Jak and Daxter had eventually retrieved the emerald but once again, luck was not on their side at the moment and Eggman took the emerald away from them.

The news was bustling with people claiming that they saw Chaos walking around the place. I believed them. In that city, anything could happen. I saw it being live breaking news and... Someone had it on the news so I didn't want to anger them with changing the channel. I was a little scared at the fact that some watery being (according to the pictures on the news) was walking among us. So scary. I getting so sad that Sonic and Tails didn't get the emerald in time that I wrote about it in the diary.

Later, I was walking down the stairs from the porch and saw Amy practicing some fighting moves with her piko piko hammer. I asked how she was doing. She said great but she had a lot on her mind. I was talking with her about what were the plans for when everything was over. She said she wanted to relax and stay with her friends. I said would like to help her with the problem with Chaos. I told her that once I did I would like to run along side everyone that I hold dear in the real and fictional world.

That's when it happened.

I had undergone my first transformation-- and it had hurt terribly. When the pain was gone, I found that I had a new form. I looked like Sonic but the shade of blue was totally different. The shoes were different too somehow. I got up and Amy, after looking a little shocked and asking me if I was okay, showed me to some of the characters including Sonic. After a few days of shifting to adjusting to my new form, I was getting trained by Sonic. I asked if I could help him and his friends out  and he said "Sure."

I did this part because it wouldn't make any sense to add the first few stories leading up to the end without adding this one.  Enjoy.
