Sonic Adventure 2 dream part 4

So as the world seemed to come to an end, I was at a lost.  What could I do to help?  Nothing.  But I did see the black hedgehog run off along with a bat girl.  I eyed them and wondered, where were they off to?  I glared then I went back to doing what I came to do, but then Sonic and friends came back for me.  I said, "There's nothing for me to do at all.  Please..." I was cut off.

"There is one thing you can do." Amy said.

"Really? What's that?"

"Come with us and find out." Sonic said.

"What?! No! My parents would kill me!"

"They wouldn't be good parents if they killed you for doing something good, right?"

"I guess not."

"Then come--"

"Nikki!" My mom called.

I raced back to her.  "Yes?"

"Stay with me! We can't afford to lose you."

I looked with weird eyes.  She is a grown up.  I thought.  What does she mean that she can't afford to lose me?

We walked down the street as people walked near their loved ones.  I had to take a look at what was happening somehow.  I just didn't have the power to see into the present like that.  I looked at everybody cowering and I sighed and was in fact scared but full of hope.  I prayed like heck to God that the Sonic Team would save everybody though I knew in my heart that they would.

The dream soon carried on to the Sonic Team's part of the story.  It started with Knuckles trying to save the pieces of the chaos emeralds on Pumpkin Hill. (It was still somewhere in California.  I will explain this soon.)  He succeeded but had a ghost on his tail once he reached the inside of a pyramid like place.  He went back and forth trying to beat the ghost named King Boom Boo at his own game.  He finally beat him by digging into the ghost's shadow defeating him.

"Whew, that was wild!" Knuckles said he caught his breath.  He went to find the other emeralds.  No sooner did that happen that the bat I saw came after him demanding the pieces of the master emerald back.  As the two fought, They quickly went out of breath from trying to defeat each other. 

Knuckle suddenly said, "The emerald pieces belongs to me! What would you want with them?"

"It is none of your business what I want to do with them!"  the bat girl said.  As she began to walk and then begin another sentence, she fell from the ramp of the not yet built building.  Knuckles ran towards the falling bat's care and saved her from falling any further.

The bat looked up and saw that Knuckles was at her aid.  He picked her up with his strength and went back to talking with her.

"Thanks." the bat said.

"No problem." Knuckles said, "Now if you excuse me, I need the emeralds."  He was off to find more but then the bat girl had given up the other emeralds in frustration.  "If this is all you need, you can keep the stupid things!"

"If you think they are so dumb then why did you want them in the first place?"  Knuckles said.

"Because at the time, I did."

"Well, you need to find something that will keep you out of trouble.  By the way, I'm Knuckles." The echidna said walking away.

"I'm Rouge." The bat said.  As the two characters walked away from each other,  Rouge had blushed  as she looked back at Knuckles.

Sonic, Tails and Amy had tons of work to do as well.  Tails had to infiltrate the place of Eggman's in Space of all things while Sonic had to use a fake chaos emerald to fool the doctor and ruin his plans once and for all.

The three had to go to... the Space Colony Ark.

Hello! Once again, I am sorry that the dialogue isn't like the game's.  I did that for good reason.  My dream was like one heck of a roller coaster ride so I barely remember it.  I hope you enjoy regardless.  It took long enough to make this part happen.
