Characters in Japan 4

Yuji Naka and Sonic had gone through a long conversation about life as people passed by staring at Sonic.  In Japan, I guess, video game character sightings were more blended in than in America.  They then were also sort of rare.  I don't know why.  There are many Japanese video games made... 

"So you see Sonic, there is more to life than just freedom, there's..."

"There's what?" Sonic asked.

Alex Kidd was in the front of the building where he was waiting for them.  He looked very innocently by and then pretended to have noticed them for the first time.

"Oh there you are.  I was waiting for you.  Please come this way."

Sonic and his new friend looked at the character funny and then followed. What was going to happen?

The building was full of old machinery and gadgets that were probably at least 5 years old.  The place was kind of dim with dust particles floating in it.

Sonic and Yuji Naka looked on and wondered where Alex Kidd was.  Turns out he had seemingly vanished as Sonic looked everywhere for him.

"Hello hedgehog."

Sonic jumped as he heard the voice and saw that from up above, there was Alex Kidd he looked down at the hedgehog with confident and determined eyes.

"It seems that you have managed to fall into my trap.  Really? A convention for Sega lovers? Are you really that crazy?"

Sonic glared and said, "Why did you do this? Who even are you?"

"I am Alex Kidd! I happen to have been the savior of Sega Islands until you wrecked it!"

"What? How?"

Yuji Naka looked confused.

"You see, Sonic, I was busy saving the world of my own.  That is when I suddenly saw you a few years later became savior!  I could've stayed a savior if you didn't go fast enough to take my spot!"

Sonic looked confused.

"You don't understand me.  No one does... I was stuck in armor for a whole hour trying to save the world and lost to rock, paper scissors a few times.  I am the champ. I am still a hero in the world that I am in but I still want to be savior."

"You know you can be savior in your world too right?"  Sonic answered.

"What is going on? What is this?" Yuji Naka said.

"Yeah, you know what I can." Alex Kidd said.

Sonic smiled.

"Right after I take you down!"

"What? No that's not what I said!"

Alex Kidd threw a bomb at Sonic but Sonic dodged it and tried to spindash at Alex.  Alex threw a bomb at Sonic and several rings came out of the blue hedgehog.

That's when Yuji Naka saw that Sonic was telling the truth after all.  The hedgehog was in fact the real Sonic.

Alex Kidd laughed and saw that Sonic was coming right for him! Alex met a charged blow to his body. He was hurt but then shook it off.

Sonic got ready to fight him again but it was quickly disturbed by the two men that he had met.

"Hey! You two must get of here quickly!" said one man.

"We can see why!" Sonic said.

"No! There's a bomb in here.  You couldn't have seen it."

"What?! You planned to blow Sonic up?!" Yuji Naka said terrified.

Alex Kidd looked in surprise and didn't say anything.  "No!" he finally said.  "I just wanted to see him gone and to say that I am stronger!"

"Let's get out of here!" The men said.

The blue hedgehog ran for it and so did Yuji Naka and Alex.

Alex ran but then tripped over wire.

Yuji Naka seeing this, had picked Alex Kidd up from the wires.

Sonic had seen it and took the two out of the building with his great speed.

The building sure enough, had exploded.  

The three had made it out with barely a scratch.

Alex Kidd was terrified.  His life had been on the line in that building.  Now it was saved by the one that he had not cared too much about.

He opened his eyes to see that Yuji Naka and Sonic was talking along with the two men.

He got up and walked towards them.  Sonic turned back to see him.

"You guys.  I am so very sorry that I had tricked you into thinking that there was a convention back there...Forgive me?" Alex Kidd asked.

The three men looked at Alex with anger and concern.

"Okay, only if you call it a truce." Sonic said.

"Fine. Truce."

The two video game characters shook hands.

Soon the sun had set.  It was time for everyone to leave.

Yes, including me and the other game characters on the other side of the city.

Well I guess the 5th one will be the conclusion... to this dream of course.  Lol there are many others on the way. Also, I made a mistake with the title lol
