Chapter 6- Not a Dream

The battle in Shinjuku would take a lot of chapters, so bear with me!

The day was busy and to make things worse, it had started raining... We fought many vampires, fortunately, none of them were nobles.

We later received a message from Guren-san saying that he's at the intersection of West Shinjuku Fifth Street, fighting the vampire's main forces. And he needs us ASAP.

Right before we reach the defense line, the rain stops. The evening sun colored the sky with yellow, orange, and pink. Rays of sunlight shone through the parting clouds.

Upon arriving, the first thing we see is Guren-san and a vampire. Guren-san looked pretty torn up and was in a pinch. The vampire was about to kill Guren-san.

"Not good! Lieutenant Colonel Guren is...!" Mic-chan saying the same thing that was probably on everyone's minds at the moment.

"Minna-san, please take your pill! We'll save Lieutenant Colonel and retreat." Shinoa-san orders. I take out a pill and pop it into my mouth.

"Let's go!" Yuu-chan says picking up speed.

"Yeah!" Kimizuki-kun says back as I give a nod.

But the vampire was a step ahead of us. "This is it, human."

"Guren!" Yuu-chan exclaims, but too late. The vampire's red blade stabs through Guren-san's chest, right above his heart. Blood spills everywhere.

"What are you doing to Guren?!" Yuu-chan charges at the vampire, hands on his sword, ready to strike the vampire.

"Another human... So annoying." The vampire says, turning his head in our direction. "Y-Yuu-chan?" A surprised look crosses the vampire's face.

Right then I notice that this vampire looked familiar. Blonde hair... blue eyes...

MIKA-CHAN! It wasn't a dream after all...

"Yuu-chan! No!" I cried, but not fast enough. Yuu-chan's green and silver blade already pierced through Mika-chan's chest. More blood spills.

Yuu-chan and Mika-chan were both breathing heavily. Faces just inches away from each others.

(A/N: I'm a Mikayuu shipper, in case any of you don't know. :P Yuunoa is okay too. I apologize to you Reader-chans and Yuunoa and other shippers that don't really like Mikayuu...)

"You..." Yuu-chan says through pants.

"Yuu-chan?"

"What the hell are you doing?!" Yuu-chan and Mika-chan turn towards Guren-san. Mika-chan's sword was still inside Guren-san's chest. "Activate the curse and kill him immediately!" Gurne-san orders Yuu-chan.

No... Please no...

"What?" Yuu-chan still looks confused.

"Do it now!"

"But..."

"Tsk. You little shit!" Guren-san picks up his own sword as he speaks.

Mika-chan pulls his sword out of Guren-san right as Guren-san strikes, blocking his attack. Mika-chan flies through the air and tumbles back. Yuu-chan had a concerned look on his face.

Guren-san is barely able to walk, but goes over to Yuu-chan and punches him. "What the fuck?! Why didn't you kill him?!" (A/N: Guren... you curse too much... .-. I myself don't curse so typing these words are a bit uncomfortable for me...)

"Huh? But he's..." Yuu-chan stops as Guren-san falls to the ground, coughing up blood. "H-Hey, are you okay?"

"I don't need you sniveling over me. Eyes on the enemy, you fuckin' brat! This is a goddamn battlefield!"
