Percy's POV

I woke up to the sound of doors and cabinets being closed and opened. When I looked up I saw Poseidon there putting my things away. "You know I thought I built a big enough cabin with plenty of storage for you to put your stuff in," he said shoving things in chests and random drawers.

Finally he stopped and looked at me,"good morning Percy. Hope you slept well," he said all the sudden, "Morning," I replied getting out of bed. "Come here give your old guy a hug," Dad said wrapping his arms around me and messing with my hair. "Yeah yeah, quite with my hair," I said trying to fix it as best as possible. Not succeeding due it the morning bed head already.

I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth along with my hair. Soon I heard a knock on my cabin door. When I opened it I saw Grover there just as he said, not leaving me alone with my dad all day. "Hey Perc, I was wondering if I could hang with you guys today?"he asked hiding the fact that I actually asked him to stay but with my dad behind me he didn't need to know.

"Of course. Come on in," I said. "Nice to see you Grover," dad said smiling. "You to Lord Poseidon," Grover replied."Geez Perc did you already cause an earthquake in here?"

Poseidon chuckled and went back to cleaning up. "Yeah.. About that," I said scratching the back of my head for a response.

"Relax man I'll help you clean it up," Grover said and started picking stuff up. We all pitched in and helped. "Hey um Perx, where do these go?" Grover asked holding a bunch of junk and extra things in his hands. "Umm just put it in the spare room," I said.

"You have a spare room? Why? All demigods are required to stay in the cabins at night." I shrugged my shoulders not knowing the reason either. I just kept extra stuff in there, extra room to me so I didn't complain, although I did wonder why. "O my wife Amphitrite encouraged me to build it. She said it would come in hand in case the Hermes cabin gets full, or something of the sorts" dad said.

Soon the horn rang signalling it was time for breakfast. We all walked there gathering our plates and such. Although our parents were still here, we still had to make an offering. I though about just giving him my roll bit of course food burt and crispy is always better. I sat down at the Poseidon table with Poseidon across from me and Grover next to me. "Why drink orange juice when you can have water?" Dad asked turning my glass of OJ into clear water. I mentally rolled my eyes,"I'm kidding. You can have whatever drink you want Percy," dad said changing it back to OJ.

"Humph. Wish my dad would say the same thing to me," Dionysus said walking by. "It could be worse Perc, you could be a kid of Demeter," Grover said.

Looking over at the Demeter table, all of her kids were eating cereal, although some did not look to happy about it, except Demeter of course. "Now children, I made sure there were no artificial products in there, it's made from whole grains picked right from my little farm," Demeter said. Poor kids. "Haha. Sounds like my sister alright."

Everyone actually seemed more relaxed this morning. Aphrodite and her kids were getting along good by the looks, Ares and his kids looking proud, Apollo writing a poem with his.  "If you will excuse me. I have to talk to someone," Poseidon said getting up and going by the pond. There was a creature sticking it head up however I couldn't tell what kind because the rest of its body was in water.

"Percy relax. Give him a chance, and it's not that bad." Grover whispered as soon as he reached the water. "I know. It's just difficult." I said and took a sip of my orange juice.

Peru's POV

20 hours in a car, joy. I just woke up from a another nap. We have been driving forever now, but I guess thats what you get when you live in Illinois. "Morning sleepy head," Jayden said sitting next to me. "Morning," I mumbled. "Hey we're approaching the Camp, wake your brother up Jayden," Jayden's father said. "On it," he unbuckled and reached for the button for the window seeing his head was leaning against it. With a simple push, the window started coming down. Then Jordan's head slipped out making him wake up with a start.

"What the heck?! Not funny!" He yelled at us rolling up the window. "I thought it was."

Our laughter soon died down with the feeling of being watched. "ah listen guys. I'm going to have to drop you off here. Now if you go straight there will be a camp lit with torches and a sign that says Camp Half-Blood. You can't miss it. Also if you happen to see any creatures, go through the entrance, then they can't get in," he said.

"What about you?" Jayden asked. "Sorry I can't go through either. Don't worry you will make it. Anyways love you both and hope you stay safe," he said and drove off. "So straight, that won't be too hard," I said. "Man I hope he's right, we're in the middle of nowhere and the woods seems awfully thick," Jordan said. "O man up, what else are we going to do? Call a cab in the middle of nowhere street to come pick us up?" I asked playfully. "O yeah why don't you use your brand new spanking modern cell phone huh Jordan?" Jayden teased knowing that Jordan had a box flip phone still. It wasn't what you would call small, and it was a flip only used for calling. Plus half of the time it didn't get signal or was dead.

"O shut up!" Jordan said. We continued to laugh on the streets hoping to not get hit by a car. Our laughter stopped when we heard not tired but walking? The sound was louder than something a squirrel or small animal would make. We looked and saw a Chimera coming around the corner, a hybrid the body of a lion and the head of a goat.

"What is that?" Jayden asked standing frozen in fear. "A Chimera," I replied now that it saw us. "Hey fun fact it can shoot fire. Run!" I said as we all sprinted into the woods. The beast made an ear screeching noise and ran after us.

The camp was farther away than I thought. Soon the entrance was in sight with people just standing there. Although the Chimera was right behind us and could catch us at any point.

Coming up it jumped up and over us and to the front to block us from entering. I unleashed my bracelet while all the guys had to do was pick up a stick and have it turn into a sword. "Go for the neck," I said before it came charging at Jordan. Luckily Jordan moved in time and hit it on it's shoulder. Me and Jayden tried attack him but Jayden's arm got caught in its mouth.

Not wanting him to get hurt even more I swung for its head making the creature release Jayden and turn it's attention to me. Although with no weapons and shorter than me, the Chimera was able to scratch me with its claws across the cheeks once. As I kept deflecting it claw movements I spotted a pond down the hill from here. Perfect.

Jayden and Jordan then kicked the creature in the side causing it to roll over. We now stood in front however we would not make it seeing at it was about to blow fire. Quickly, I closed my eyes and concentrated, making the water come up and stand before is deflecting the flames being shot. A wall of water to protect us. "Now!" I yelled giving them water arrows and bows.

Both of them shot the creature in the neck and head. "Run!" I exclaimed knowing it was about to explode on us since we killed it. Unfortunately we couldn't get far enough away and was blasted out in different directions. I came rolling down the hill hitting my head on a rock or something then blacking out.
