Hidden Through Water

Percy's POV

Soon my dad came back and sat down. "Is everything alright?" I asked being polite. "Yes. It was nothing much," he said back. Of course it was nothing, what was I expecting, him to tell me all about the problems and stuff I probably don't even know about.

We sat there in silence for the rest of breakfast. Just as breakfast ended, a watch guard shouted that there was an attack on the outside borders coming close.

Everyone ran near the borders to see what the commotion was. 3 teenagers, one girl two boys,  were being chased by a Chimera heading our way. "Should we help them?" I asked knowing how hard it was to fight a creature first thing. "No, let's see if they're strong enough to make it past the border," Zeus said holding him ground. Everyone looked at him wide-eyed, usually we help the new comers. But it was Zeus, no one was ever going to dare disobey his orders.

The three started fighting them off pretty good for someone who has no training. The monster jumped in front of them blocking our view and preventing them from entering. The girl took off her bracelet that turned into a sword and the two boys pick up a stick that did the same thing. Demeter's kids I'm guessing. However the girl was different but the same as me all in one.

We saw the Chimera shoot a wall of fire at them, however they somehow escaped it without any harm done. When I saw the two boys from the sides, shoot water arrows I was very surprised. Wait water arrows? Me and my dad both looked at each other.

"Run!" We heard the girl yell and start running towards us. We thought for sure they were going to make it until the Chimera exploded and sent them blasting different directions. The two boys landed in a bush and the girl flew the opposite direction landing in the water. We looked at Zeus to see if it was okay to check on them, he just gave a simple nod. Quickly Demeter ran over to the boys exclaiming," My boys, my boys are you okay my dears?" checking to see if they were okay.

Chiron looked at me and dad saying," Go check on the girl." Quickly me and dad along with some other campers ran over to the lake where the girl landed. Her body floated towards us, eyes closed, and her head was bleeding a little. Dad pulled her in on land, "she's still breathing," he exclaimed. I looked at her but saw she was completely dry, and her wound on her head was healed.

"Quick, get her to the infirmary," Chiron said. Two campers with a stretcher came and retrieved her taking her to the infirmary. We followed and saw the two boys being taken there too. Apollo kids help heal them and soon it was back to training.

Dad took me by the lake to teach me more water tricks, controlling the current, making a whirlpool, etc. While making a whirlpool and stiring the water I decided to actually have a conversation with him. "Did you see what that girl did?" I asked bluntly, trying not to state the obvious. Poseidon paused and looked up at me," Yes I did."

"Do you think she's one of us?" I asked choosing my words carefully. "She could be, she might not be. There are many sea creatures, who knows how she got those powers. However if you were wondering, she is not mine." Thank the gods I didn't have to ask him myself.

"Then who do you think her parent is then?" I asked," I don't know Percy. As I said there is many sea creatures, anyone can be her parent." Poseidon said.

How many sea creature are there that look like mortals and yet have the power to shoot water arrows. Heck even I can't do that and yet she can? How? Why? Where did she even come from? "Perseus! Your whirlpool!" Dad yelled taking me out of thought to see that my whirlpool was spinning way to fast for my liking. Quickly I stopped spinning my arms to slow it down. "Be sure to pay attention to what you are doing Percy. I don't want to hear of any natural disasters from Chiron that were made by you," he said pointing his finger at me.

"Yes dad." Soon Hermes came flying in announcing," A message from Apollo. She is awake." Already? That water must've did a lot to heal her. "Okay we will be right there. Thank you Hermes," Dad said as Hermes flew off.

"I'm guessing you would like to see her since you have so many questions for her?" He asked raising an eyebrow. I shrugged my shoulders and we walked to the infirmary.

There she was sitting on the bed, hair black and dry, eyes as blue as the sea.

Peru's POV

When I woke up I was blinded by the light. Sunlight to be exact. Finally when my eyes adjusted I saw a tanned man with bright blond hair besides me. "O sorry about that just fixing you some nectar. Here drink up." He said handing me a bowl. I looked at it mysteriously debating whether I should drink it or not. "It's to help you heal don't worry," he spoke seeing my concern, along with a flashing smile. Eh what do I have to loose? When I took a sip it tasted like very sweet honey, with sugar.

"Taste good right?" I nodded my head. "Names Apollo by the way, and you are.." he stuck out his hand for me to shake which I accepted. "Peru." I spoke. Apollo, the sun god, poet, healer, Artemis twin. I can't believe I actually made it. Soon after Apollo introduced himself two guys walked in, one with green eyes, brown hair and tanned skinned. The other exactly like him only older and more muscular.

"Hello there, I'm Percy and this is my dad Poseidon," the boy said. O dear I hope they're not here about my powers. Poseidon, god of the sea, there's no doubt why they're here, what was I thinking. Great. "What's your name?" Percy asked, "Peru," I responded.

"Peru? That's a unique name." He said trying to lighten the mood. "How old are you Peru?"

"15."

"You're young, yet you seem to know so much," Poseidon said referring to my water arrows I'm assuming. He was about to ask something else before the door barged open and in came some girl with brown/blonde hair.
"Hello I'm Annabeth, I'm here to take you to your cabin."
