Maeve POV

"What?", King, Ban, & Meliodas all pondered at the same time. Gowther decided to stay silent. "COME ON OUT YOU WEIRDOS!", Hawk yelled again. Maeve sighed. "Let's go Danii...", I said as she crawled out. "U-uh....", Danii stuttered as they got out. When they stood up their legs were shaking.

"Woah! Who are you guys?", Meliodas exclaimed. Ban began slowly walking toward us. "Well, the purple haired one goes by 'Danii'", he said. Danii nodded. I then noticed Danii looking at King. 'You dork...'

"But you", Ban began speaking again. I turned my attention back to him as he leaned down toward me. "What's your name?", he asked. I could feel my face heating up, but I did my best to keep a straight expression "My name is Maeve", I said. Ban smirked. "Maeve~ I like that name", he said. "Nice to meet ya, Maeve" I gave him a small smile. "Nice to meet you too" DamnHe'sHotDamnHe'sHotDamn

"So, where did you two come from?", Meliodas asked as he placed a hand on his hip. He looked kinda sassy, & it was funny. Either way, when he asked that question, Danii quickly stepped up to answer it.

"We were on the run from Holy Knights!", Danii said. "There was a huge battle in the capital while we were walking around, & we just had to get out of there! We then came across here, & it was empty, & we just..." Damn. Danii was just speaking as fast as a bullet a second ago, but then got stumped.

Danii POV

'Oh no... I'm stumped!', I thought. 'And I had a really good answer going too...' King floated in front of me. I felt my face heat up immediately. "Hey", he calmly said. "Calm down, it's alright" My stomach growled. My face got even more red with embarrassment. King actually had a look of... concern on his face?!

He turned to Meliodas. "Surely we can feed them & give them a place to stay until Liones is repaired, right captain?", he said. I looked at Maeve. We both smiled at each other. "Sure", he said with a smile on his face.

I'll be honest, I thought Ban was going to say something about 'Should we really trust them' or something, but he didn't. He just said "What do you guys want to eat?", with a cocky smirk on his face. "Some steak is fine", Maeve said as she crossed her arms & smiled. At least she was getting comfortable... "Alright! Come downstairs & meet the others!", motioned Meliodas.
