Chapter 2

Danii POV

We had landed in a forest. Just beyond the trees, both me & Maeve could see the Boar Hat. "Oh. My. God", Maeve said. "Danii, you're a genius" She was clutching the popcorn as she gawked at the sight before her. I looked up a little to see Oslo attempting to sallow Diane, as King watched. I gasped.

"Maeve! Maeve look!", I whisper yelled to Maeve as I pointed at King like he was some sort of animal on the while. Maeve gasped too. "Oh. My god. Danii", she said. She then rubbed her shoulder against mine. "It's your cruuuush", she teased. I lightly pushed her off me.

She wasn't wrong though, I did have a crush on King. That wasn't the point right now though, then again...

"Like you can say much", I replied to her with a smirk on my face. "Sooner or later, we gonna see your crush, Baaaaaan" She straight up punched me! "OW!", I yelled as I grabbed my arm.

King heard it.

He looked down at the trees in our general direction. He couldn't see us, but we could see him clearly. I was staring right into his honey colored eyes. After a few seconds, he turned back around.

"Nice going Danii", Maeve said. I was too in awe to reply. I felt a tear come down my face. "Danii?", she had a concerned look on her face. I sniffled. "You know how I said I cry when I think of people I won't meet? Like Dan & Phil?", I asked as more tears slowly ran down my cheeks. "Yeah", she replied. "That means I cry when I meet them... and like", I paused to sniffle again.

"I haven't even met King yet, but considering that he's... well, in an anime, just seeing him here is just... It's just like when I went to TATINOF & saw Dan & Phil from the top balcony" Maeve patted my back. "It's okay Danii", she said. "You'll get to meet him in a little bit probably!" I smiled. "Yeah... you're right"

We watched the whole scene unfold until King & Diane had left for Liones. "Wait a second", I said. "They're going towards the finale" Maeve looked at me confused. "What?", she asked. "Think about it, none of the sins are going to come back to the Boar Hat until Hendrikson has been defeated", I said. "We have a while"

Maeve's eyes widened. "Oh crap! What are we gonna do?" I looked over at the Boar Hat. "Hmm....", I thought to myself. "Don't tell me. Don't you dare. Don't you DARE TELL ME THAT-" "We're gonna break into the Boar Hat?", I cut her off. Maeve stared at me with a dead look. "Dammit", she said.

"Do you have any better ideas?", I asked. "Do you wanna go fight some holy knights?" "YEA-", Maeve paused. Logic seemed to kick in for her. "Wait. No" "Okay then", I said. "Let's go!"

We went up to the Boar Hat & just walked in, since Meliodas hasn't put a lock on it. I'm sure he isn't expecting two teens from another world to break in. We of course went up to King & Ban's room.

Maeve POV

"Woah...", I said as I walked in King & Ban's room. I stared in awe for about a minute, then I ran & jumped onto Ban's bed. Danii laughed. "You're enjoying yourself, aren't you?" I looked up at them. "I see you eyeing King's hammock. Don't act like I don't" I said as I put my face back into Ban's pillow. It smelled like alcohol. Oh well... I didn't care. I could hear Danii carefully getting into King's hammock, while trying not to break it.

"This reminds me of being at Zach's house", Danii said as they swung in the hammock. I chuckled. "Yeah... oh my GOD DANII HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY IS THIS SATURDAY" Danii yelled, "OH JEGUS", and then I heard them fall out of the hammock. I looked up at them. "Good going", I said. "WHATEVER?!", they continued yelling. "HOW DO WE GET BACK?!"

I shrugged. "Oslo" Danii stared me dead in the eyes. "Oh, & what am I supposed to do? Go up to King & say 'Yeah, me & Maeve are from another world & we're gonna go back & forth through Oslo? Do you mind?'"

"Yeah", I said. Danii rolled their eyes. "You expect me to do that?! Not only do I have anxiety when talking to people, but it's worse when it's someone I like. Also, ITS KING!" "I think you'll manage", I said. "I think he'll like you. You are similar to him in some ways ya know. Plus, you're pretty. So pretty, maybe he would get over Diane I know how much you hate her"

Danii put their hands on their hips. "No way. I'm not that amazing", they said. "Yeah, you are actually", I said. Danii looked down, then finally smiled. "Thanks, I guess..." Then after a moment of silence, "HEY, MAYBE BAN WILL LIKE YOU TOO!" I rolled my eyes. "Maybe...", I said. 'Probably not', I thought.

[ Time skip. Blame Takumi. ]

Danii POV

Me & Maeve were just chilling in King & Ban's room at this point. Well, I was chilling. Maeve was taking a nap on Ban's bed. Everything was cool until...

I heard the door open.

I quickly jumped up out of King's hammock. "Maeve! Maeve! Maeve they're here! We gotta hide!", I whisper yelled as I shook Maeve. It took a second for her to realize what was happening, but when she did her eyes widened.

"Hm?", I heard a calm, almost monotone voice downstairs. "I think I heard someone"

It was Gowther.

"What? Upstairs?", Said another voice.

Meliodas.

"Yes. Specifically from King & Ban's room"

Dammit Gowther!

"He heard us!", I whispered. "He heard you, dumbass", Maeve replied sarcastically. I rolled my eyes & fidgeted around a little. "Now isn't the time!" "Okay okay... under Ban's bed" "What?!" Maeve grabbed my hand & jerked me under. We positioned ourselves to where We could see what was going on from underneath the bed.

Ban, Gowther, & Meliodas walked in, with King floating behind themm. They almost looked ready to fight. My heart started racing, for fear of a fight, & from King being nearby.

King looked around the room. "Weird. I don't see anyone here", he said. Ban looked down at his bed. "Heeeey", he said. "My sheets aren't the same way I left them" I looked at Maeve. She gave me a light shrug. "Uh yeah... Gowther, I don't see anyone here", Meliodas said. "Let's just go back downstairs & celebrate our victory!" Me & Maeve both breathed a sigh of relief.

But then Hawk came upstairs.

"Hm? Watcha doin' up here Hawk?", Meliodas asked. "I smell something weird!", he said as he stuck his snout right by where we were. "WOAH!", he squealed. "WE HAVE TWO INTRUDERS HERE UNDER THE BED!"
